  • A Question for GGG Fans

Would you rather see Canelo relinquish the 160 belt for GGG than for them to fight at a catch weight? Because the general consensus is you would.
Now imagine there wasn't a belt on the line, wouldn't it be reasonable for them to meet in the middle? I doubt anyone would complain before Canelo beat Cotto.

The question is, why tf do you care about if GGG gets the lineal belt or not? What do you gain if Canelo drops the belt and GGG fights some hopeless for it? You get no fight, all you get is some little print on boxrec that says GGG is the best middleweight...but everyone already knows he is the best middleweight so...

Canelo drop the belt and for GGG to win it on a technicality because I hate watching good fights

I would rather them just meet in the middle, I don't care about a belt

Fight at the designated weight or drop the damn belt simple as that time to stop making a mockery of the division you can't just create a 1+ lbs division just because you're too chicken **** to move up all the way to 160.

That's the truth that a lot of Canelo fans don't want to hear but Canelo has been a ***** whilst he has fought good fighters he has forced them up to his will because he is too scared of giving away that weight advantage the act of possibly a not so special fighter wanting to prolong the hype, maybe.

Canelo walked into GGG neighborhood and wants him to drop weight to fight him..how in the **** does that make sense? the fight is for 160 supremacy...not 155 supremacy..The question you should be asking is if Martinez had just retired when he knew he was done would Cotto,Canelo or Khan ever even had the balls to go to middleweight???

This isn't Khan fault this is entirely Oscar and Canelo fault!
Khan has been seeking a big fight but guys like Floyd and Pacquiao pussied out on it.
It's definitely unfortunate that Canelo is a chicken **** ***** who isn't willing to fight the real champion of 160 when he knows it can easily be made the act of a coward but people on here will try to protect the pretender.

What belt did Golovkin hold at 168lbs that he was holding hostage your troll comment holds absolutely no weight to the point I'm bringing up.

Boxing is a business related sport and guys like Ward aren't big names and the only person you can fault for the Ward fight not happening is Ward the direction he took his entire career has been the incorrect one fighting negative, cherry picking bums after bums.
Just know this Ward is a mega talented fighter but he isn't as well known or as successful as Carl Froch poor Ward couldn't fill out a stadium that goes past 20k that isn't in his home, in fact, I doubt he'd even do it in his own home town.

Who cares about a damn belt. Would you have cared if May Pac had no belt on the line? This fight is bigger than some belt. Canelo is a big JMW and GGG is a small MW so why not just meet in the middle?

GGG doesn't even care about the belt, he is just using it as leverage to get more money! He is happy to go down a few pounds, he's already said that in the past. This is all wbout squeezing whatever money he can out of the A side while his fans think its about something greater like "honoring the belt" lol!
