The 154-168 comment was made years ago, they were announcing who he would fight THEN, it was a challenge and no one stepped up to it... time changes everything, GGG got older... that was then, this is now... he will take good fights where he can find them; nobody really wants to fight him, Ward only wanted to fight him more than a year in the future... that's a good amount of time for him, but GGG actually fights more than once a year... he would be going three times as a MW before meeting Ward at a weight Andy's been training toward for a year... GGG's schedule is one of the things that makes big fights difficult to make... he's on from one fight to another, there's not a lot of time to book a new fight in sync with the other top guys... hopefully he goes down to three fights a year...

This. Khan might as well go wrestle a bear. - Other than money, Canelo has nothing to gain from fighting Khan and Khan has nothing to lose. Absolutely pointless.

I think they'll reconsider if Khan actually beat Canelo.
The fight would be way too big as Khan would widely be regarded as one of the very best fighters on the planet at that point, and the p4p #1 by some.
But, I can't blame them for sticking to their 160 stance for now, it's fair enough for the time being. I'd say the same thing if I was in their shoes.

Why doesn't GGG just put a muzzle on them??? These guys make Bob Arum and Don King look almost Honest...

I'm sick of this pos Andre CoWard getting a break and being rated 2 lb 4 lb... Manny won a title against Margarito who Floyd was scared to fight at 151 pounds...that's about 8 divisions above his first division when he started...
Andre CoWard is 32 and won a title in one division... a 32 year old needs 3 tune ups to fight Kova..
Triple G has no reason to move up in weight because there are no fights... CoWard, again at 32 years old, needs 3 tunes up to fight anyone with a pulse, gets fights rejected by NSAC, and still has HBO commentators sucking him off...
Who is Triple G going to fight at 168? Dirrell or some other no name bum... Chavez Jr is the only fight that would make sense and Chavez like Canelo and Ward is scared...
The only fights for Triple G are at 175, and why tf would he jump two weight divisions when he's the mandatory for a super fight with Canelo..
These race-bating pos on this really just make everything about race and are essentially the same new-KKK and they bring down any discussion about anything because they apply double standards based on race..Last edited by MisanthropicNY; 02-13-2016, 10:26 AM.
