This seems like an unbelievably bad idea to me. Don't get me wrong, it would be a big fight, but Marquez isn't the biggest guy ever and he's been out of the ring for a year. Cotto is only responding to this, because JMM & Nacho started talking about it! Marquez surfaces 2, 3 times a year to sound relevant talking about himself, his knee, like we miss him or something. Id love to see him ball-up and fight Cotto, and take one helluva beating. He'd get stopped, period. Cotto & Roach have already said they'd love this fight. I won't be surprised if the fight never comes off due to Marquez balking to agree to as much. I'd love having this fight come off to give that pee drinking Marquez a sour retirement.
