all of them since the super six were cherries. even the super six in itself was setup in ward's favor. just imagine if ggg entered a tournament and fought all his fights in kazakstan, cheated nonstop in several, all while his opponents had to travel around the world fighting in each others backyards. that would be pretty messed up now wouldn't it...oh wait that happened cept his name wasn't ggg

Backyards don't matter unless your Carl Froch . Ward beats everyone so handily it's never controversial , so what's the fuss ? I've never seen anyone in Oakland jump in the ring to help Ward , have u ?all of them since the super six were cherries. even the super six in itself was setup in ward's favor. just imagine if ggg entered a tournament and fought all his fights in kazakstan, cheated nonstop in several, all while his opponents had to travel around the world fighting in each others backyards. that would be pretty messed up now wouldn't it...oh wait that happened cept his name wasn't gggComment

the important thing about this fight is if this one is the second fight in the 3 fight deal or the first, ward says is the first, HBO says is the second. i think ward wants nothing to do with kovalev right now and will try to delay the fight to next yearComment

He signed a three-fight deal with Kovalev as the finale. So he wants two tune-ups and HBO agreed. He hasn't fought once yet since signing. I think he's well within his rights to wanna fight two times (as agreed upon) and the latest he can delay this to is Jan/Feb at best (immaterial and irrelevant). The fight is happening as long as both win and whether it's in November or Jan has little to do with ducking.Comment

Very good points...all of them since the super six were cherries. even the super six in itself was setup in ward's favor. just imagine if ggg entered a tournament and fought all his fights in kazakstan, cheated nonstop in several, all while his opponents had to travel around the world fighting in each others backyards. that would be pretty messed up now wouldn't it...oh wait that happened cept his name wasn't ggg

Barrera isn't top 10 at 175, so i'd struggle to call him a contender. He might be ranked by some random alphabet group, but those rankings are only used in argument when they seem convenient..
It's a Wade-level fight. I hope he fights someone like Shabranskyy nextComment

That Cotto pic you have is the exact reaction regarding GGG. The man is feared hands down. The only way I will ever think different is if he is dominated.all of them since the super six were cherries. even the super six in itself was setup in ward's favor. just imagine if ggg entered a tournament and fought all his fights in kazakstan, cheated nonstop in several, all while his opponents had to travel around the world fighting in each others backyards. that would be pretty messed up now wouldn't it...oh wait that happened cept his name wasn't gggComment

I think Ward's correct about his analysis of the fight.. the only thing I don't see is the strength. Barrera is not an out of shape Paul Smith. He should definitely be stronger.
Hope Abel changes his approach though. He's known for preparing his fighters and then adjusting on the fly in the ring. That's a recipe for disaster against Ward. They need to come in with a plan and execute. If they fight Ward's fight, they stand no chance. It could be a late round stoppage or an easy UD.Comment

Barrera has some solid credentials and is undefeated. Barrera isn't going to roll over for Andre and lay down. It will be a nice test for Ward to see if there is any power for Ward at 175lbs.Comment

Welcome btw, hadn't seen you post until a few days ago.
It is clearly obvious that you will fit in well with a certain fanbase who frequents this site.
But a bit harsh on Golovkin there, K2 are not a harem of devotee's, they are his lying manipulating management team.Comment
