That's really a head scratcher. Did you condemn Sanchez when he said Ward was a nobody or did you repeat that nonsense?

Have a guess what the toilet-man did, I think you know.

      a) I understand the stereotype but that's very biaised (with my respect). Look at the US sprinters... Tim Montgomery, Justin Gatlin, Marion Jones... even Carl Lewis !!!

      b) GGG, Kovalev, Beterbiev, Shabranskyy and others are now living in US (so drug testing available) (like said my dear and tender Tiliheels)

The average age of a Slavic amateur versus and US/UK Amateur is significantly higher. Slavic fighters turn pro much later (on average), and are more prepared to deal with the rigors of the professional ranks (at least physically).
Totally agree with you but they are also mentally prepared to fight outside of their country... They don't like to show off and also people who show off... And there is a lot of "hip hop macho dumb show" in US, and this is, for eastern people who mostly prefer humility and simplicity, very low culturaly speaking ... (sorry...a relapse...)

I think the 2nd proposition is more likely, but number 1 can't be ignored either. .
May be... Stereotypes are only true from very far... When we approach, we only see a mix of antithesis and thesis, as always and for everyone...

          too sensitive. I understand.

He's a live dog, kinda basic but has good technique and a deep amateur background. This won't be an easy fight, but Ward will be prepared of course. His trainer is an admirer of the Cuban style so both sides might have a trick or two up their sleeve.
You all are convinced that he cleaned up the 168 division (even HBO said that). May be the common point is the US nationality ? Who knows

Anyway, I will not continue to express my doubt about his achievement in order to not irritate you. After all, I'm a newbie (it means -> non-US citizen )

That's true that i'm the only to use emoticon... eastern european = not always up-to-date.

How long before Baby G is irrelevant fighting C- and D fighters? Real boxing fans want to know.

You can't downplay Ward's accomplishments and at the same time toot Baby G's horn or C***. His horn or C*** which ones gives u goose bumps and make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

ITT: A bunch of people reading way too far into Abel's choice of words

He is just trying to stand behind the idea that Barrera is a big test for Ward. I don't think he is taking shots at Canelo or GGG.
