go look at andre ward's debut fight...he actually lost weight in rehydration...not this massive guy you make him out to be...he was actually just stronger than them bc he's strong

Bitter about Lil G, I'm confused? Bitter about being ducked but then when you get called out by Ward...I really didn't mean it, Ward didn't read the fine print on my statement..(in my Lil g voice)...

And when he systematically dismantles Kov what will you say or will you ignore the fact and just keep harping that GGG is the best?

You are hoping Kov does what Baby G was afraid to accomplish or be great.

they know the truth..ward injuries and inactivity kept stunted his career..i think the man would have moved up years ago, but his career wasnt in the place he needed it to be....dont mind these trolls...they are mainly just ggg protectors who latch on to one way of thinking..

All the Baby G fans can breath a sigh of relief. At 34, baby G cant eat salads forever. That old body will fight back eventually.

i dont know why i was expecting him to say that it would be easier for barrera since ward is actually gonna fight someone his size. He actually had a classy response

if they fight at 168 they just need to stay their and continue to build his legacy there..enough of chasing diva's...he's chased more diva's than a keep up with the kardashian's fan lol
time to get in with guy who will likely fight you

Personally, I don't think Andre Ward did the same at 168. He's curiously never been very vocal about fighting a 168 pounds belt holders like DeGale, Badou Jack (or even the Direll brothers).
However, he's a tremendous fighter, the way he fought the bigger Edwin Rodriguez showed his enormous skill set but at my opinion he has not cleaned the 168 division, which is getting better...
i wont even bother to ask who gave you info like this...im sure it was thunderdome boxing smh...you guys can go ahead and contradict yourselves now like abel is doing, bc GGG is out of ward's sights now..so u dont have to spread misinfo nomore..
if there was anyone he didnt beat it was bute...but froch ko'd bute...so ward would get very little credit for beating the leftovers of a man that he schooled..
dirrell dropped out of the fight with ward due to injury and was not back until late 2014 early 2015..he is still very inactive today

Seriously, Degale and Jack were not even on the radar back then and they both would get dominated against Ward. (Andre Dirrell was in the Super Six btw) Have you seen their last couple of fights? It's not like they're going out there beating guys convincingly.

Both are good young fighters who are finding ways to win. I have enjoyed both of their journeys to the top of the division and when they meet it will be great for boxing. But neither one is some special talent. Ward is! (I also think GGG is special too; can't wait until he stops Canelo in 6.) But don't try to make biased arguments because of your fandom for GGG.
I'm not convinced that the super six tournement victory of Andre Ward is enough to determine that he's pound for pound n°1. That's fairly biaised. It is like he is the last hope of US to defend the tower which is surrounded by more and more eastern european fighters

Remember how he was chilly to go in UK recently to fight Froch. But in the same time GGG, Kovalev, Lomachenko and others are always fighting outside of their country. They always have a disadvantage...

But now that Ward is fighting (trying to fight...) in light-heavyweight, we will have the confirmation or invalidation of his greatness, because in that division there is a lot very good eastern european fighters (Kovalev, Beterbiev, Shabranskyy , Egor Mekhontsev, Oleksandr Gvozdyk, Dmitry Bivol ) . And as his speciality is to fight some non-US fighters in his own backyard in USA, he will have the big choice...

I would be convince only after his fight against Sullivan Barrera. Same for GGG with Canelo... but for Kovalev I'm already convinced.

GGG lomo and kov live in the US...therefore they are fighting in their own country..enough of that excuse...where did ward win his gold medal? not in oakland...idc if he fights in your living it is a great chance that the sports books will favor him..GET OVER YOUR ****** YOUTUBE TEACHINGS DUDE

                      (1) I never said anything about being P4P #1
                      (2) Save that eastern bloc propaganda for someone who cares. Boxers are boxers. I don't care what country they're from. Ward has done things in boxing that very few in this generation has. He's at LHW (and working for success) to join the likes of Mayweather and Pacquiao and the rest of the all time greats. Its going to be fun watching him try.
                      (3) Kovalev is a very good fighter, but I have been told by many people from Slavic countries that he is not the real deal (pointing to his amateur career) and that GGG and Beterbiev are, so I'm not sure what to believe. I know that he has done well for himself up to this point, but I also don't think he has beaten any truly great fighters yet (w/ the exception of a 50 year old Hopkins who is WAY past it, but was able to beat LHWs (pascal, etc.) who are not very good).
