Comments Thread For: Amir Khan Confident: If I Hit Canelo Clean, I Can Hurt Him!

British star Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) feels Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (46-1-1, 32KOs) presents a very exploitable style.

Khan will move up by eight pounds on May 7th to challenge Canelo for the WBC middleweight title for a catch-weight of 155-pounds.

Cotto and Lara hit him clean and didn't really hurt him. I don't believe Khan hits harder than them.

Amir Khan needs to shut his mouth and focus on training as opposed to marketing the fight. Everyday since the fight was announced; it's been Amir Khan talking about his chances and how he fancies himself against Canelo. I've not seen one quote from Canelo about this fight since it was announced. It's like Amir Khan's trying to convince himself he can win because deep down he knows he's getting humiliated come May 7th.

Khan is talking about his power way too much, and about knocking out Canelo. It's weird because he is not a puncher and his last stoppage of a top 5 guy was Zab Judah at 140. Canelo's team better check this guys gloves and wraps very well on fight night, also better have random blood testing. This is no worse than Malignaggi hypothetically talking about he can KO James DeGale.

I hate Amir Khan and everything he represents. Clean-cut poster boy with no chin or power. I hope he just ****s off along with his nancy boy fans.

Thick and dense seems to be the order of the day.
After the initial shock of Khan weaseling his way in to this fight that he's done absolutely nothing to earn unless you call beating lightweterweight Algieri and small washed up Alexander worthy of a middleweight title shot.I was originally with him as a underdog but as with Khan he just carries on saying irritating things to the point come fight time I will probably be solidly behind Canelo to knock this idiot spark out.......Khan stfu and just fight.

Is This Khan's retirement fight? if Khan was serous about continuing with his boxing career he would of boxed Brook or Garcia, but he knows he can't beat any of the top welters, he has no future boxing welter at this level, he's terrified of facing Brook, he won't fight Garcia. how khan gets these top fights is beyond me, he must have friends in high places.

khan did'nt do nothing at 147 but duck the tops.he had no power there, would've gotten broken fighting at 154 and he thinks that he can do something at 155lbs plus saul cowardrez will be entering the ring at lite heavy.

I formally believe Khan thinks his life is DBZ or at least an anime; up until now Khan's been limiting his power and speed because he believes he might hurt someone, but now that there's a worthy opponent, Khan can go full power!

Wow, Khan is actually putting his life on the line on a miracle that he will land a lucky punch, pathetic. he clearly took this fight for the money.
