Dominic Wade is not GGG's mandatory lol. GGG's mando pulled out due to injury. Wade is his inexperienced replacement. Total mismatch.

Barrera was a hell of an amateur and is ranked #1 by the IBF, #8 by the WBC and #6 by the WBA, plus if you ever seen him (doubt it) the boy can fight. Not to mention this is Ward's first go fighting at the LHW limit. Just because YOU never heard of him doesn't make it a cherry pick. Most overused term in NSB.

It will be good to see Ward back in action. Hopefully, he looks good against Barrera and stays active. I want to see his career get back on track.

Good fight. Barrera is no joke and he's a big, skilled light heavyweight.

          Good news...

I hope Barrera wins, even though he'll probably get schooled.

Going to be an exciting fight.
I suspect (like most people) that Ward will win but it's at least going to be a test.
This is kind of like the Canelo V Floyd fight and hopefully Barrera will have a bright future if he learns from it. Hell! Maybe his size and skills will overcome Ward's ring rust.

Still a better win than anything on Lil G or Kov's weak ass resumes.

Barrera cannot win in Oakland unless he KO's Ward.

This is a good fight for Ward. It should show how good he is today as a light heavyweight. The fight is a done deal and unless one of the boxers has an injury in training the fight will happen. It's good to have Ward fighting against a real quality opponent. GGG will be fighting an equally good opponent who is young and undefeated. Good for both of them. Too many of today's top boxers are cherry picking weak opponents. Lara and Crawford for example. Canelo picked a cherry as well but a cherry that will make him a lot of money.
