because some genius (im guessing Jimmy) decided to keep Wayne Ellington instead
but, we should throw that 'im sorry, here's a max contract' note in the off season
nothing like a fat payday to quell hard feelings

LOL I forgot about Ellington. If things don't happen this Summer I hope Jimmy keeps his promise and steps down.

I give my respect to Hopkins for how long he has remained elite and competitive despite his old age. Just goes to show that even though he's lost his physical talents compared to his younger days, that skill and experience really pays it's dividends.
With that said, I don't want to see Hopkin vs Golovkin. I'd rather see him retire now. He has nothing left to prove in my book, and being 51 years of age and still boxing can't be good for him. I'm afraid to see him deteriorate within a year of when he finally retires, know what I mean?
With that said, Hopkins truly is a GOAT and belongs in everyone's all-time greatest boxers ever. Just for his longevity alone, I'd be happy to throw him in the top 30-35 boxers of all-time. No other boxer has remained as good as he has to the age of 51 besides Foreman (whom I rank very highly).

In honesty I believe Ali has the weaker resume of the three, but just because you're too scared to go against the grain your attack Manny. Doesn't mean you should disrespect Ali because the guy has a stellar resume for a heavyweight show respect to the best of today and yesterday.
Boxing fans need grow up.
