what's impressive about fighting a guy 2 weight classes smaller than you?

tito and oscar were blown up welterweights

Winky and pavlik were middleweights who he brought up to light heavyweight.

      Hopkins cherry picked Orelnas,jones rematch,murat,shumenov.

      Tarver and Pascal legit victories.

he lost to dawson, taylor,Prime roy, kovalev because he didn't have any advantages

Hopkins doesn't get a seat at the ali table
The thread is about being a warrior and the stand of opposition. The fact is that Bernard will have fights against: Prime RJJ, Prime Felix Trinidad, Prime Oscar, Prime Kovalev and Prime Golovkin. THIS IS ALONE ****ING INSANE LEVEL OF OPP lets be real.

Then you have Prime Chad (who had his number) Prime Tarver, Prime Jermaine Taylor. Bernard took on EVERYONE man, ****ing insane resume.

Bradley x3?? Why is this even a trilogy?.... Are we going to pretend that the first 2 fights weren't close.
Irrelevant man. This is about standard of opposition and when Pac retires people will look back and say: HOLY ****ING **** THAT LITTLE MAN TOOK THEM ALL ON!

Too bad your boy Ward will never even come close to getting to the heights Pacquiao reached. The run that Pac went on may never be matched in boxing history man face it. He took them all on, and went through 8 divisions. ****ing madness bro, you need to admit it.

I don't want to watch this fight. But if it happens, it would be an exhibition fight between two 'gentlemen'...

Since when do you get extra credit for pointless rematches? the name should be only once on your resume, plus Pacquiao lost to Morales, JMM and Bradley, if you wanna compare legacies regardless of wins and losses, imo i think Oscar Dela Hoya is the one the faced the best opposition in this era, he fought prime Pacquiao, prime Mayweather, Hopkins, prime Vargas, prime Trinidad, Pernell Whitaker, Chavez, Gatti, undefeated Genaro Hernandez and the list goes on and on.

Not true, OT Hopkins is a legend, his boxing resume speaks for itself but I hope this fight doesn't happen. The Kovalev fight was a step too far for Bernard and I fear for him if he has to drop down to middleweight to fight GGG.
