They ain't going anywhere any time soon. Kovalev/Pascal just did 1.1 million views. GGG gets views fighting bums too.

I think they've done a good job of carving out a niche of marketing power punchers and international fighters in response to Haymon's growing U.S. stable of fighters.

As a boxing fan, I just hope they make much better matchups, same expectation I have for PBC/Haymon.
IMHO they better put a huge push behind the Krusher, and TC. That will set the stage for productive years for HBO. I use to have questions about Krusher, but dude can bang, period. TC is the goods imo.

        Hbo boxing aint going nowhere...
Exactly no clue what the purpose of this thread other then a butt hurt Haymon fanboy upset that PBC has been in the news the last few weeks because it's in trouble with investors having lost hundreds of millions and now there are lawsuits according to the LA times so Haymon fanboys trying to divert the attention anyway

HBO Boxing saw increase in ratings last year and they have all the top fighters in the game signed. They have the entire top 10 P4P rankings. They have a rock solid profitable business model. Meanwhile their top competition Showtime has seen their entire business crippled by Haymon. Showtime boxing is down 50% in ratings from just last year despite paying Haymon fighters more then HBO pays for their fights. Wilder did 500K viewers, Jacobs vs Quillin did 300k viewers, Broner did 500k viewers. People need to worry about Showtime and not HBO.

If and when HBO stops airing boxing it will be because of Netflix, cord cutting, people getting rid of cable bills and cable boxes all together and them not adapting to the dynamic shift in how people are consuming Shows, Movies, ect digitally via streaming. It will have nothing to do with Haymon or because Haymon robbed PBC investors blind.

Anybody that compares a GOT or sopranos show to a sports broadcast is either ******ed or just a troll....not everybody watches sport programmes and boxing is a specialist sport that attracts fans of the sport and maybe a few casuals outside of .....you can bet on one particular episode of GOT you will find a football fan, a basketball fan, a boxing fan, a woman who hates sport and a kid who just watches fantasy shows....that's what kind of audience it attracts........omowale is probably the biggest troll on this site.....p.s on a side note....canelo Alvarez, gennady golovkin , manny pacquaio , terrence Crawford ,sergey kovalev , Timothy Bradley , lomachencko and ward and Im sure your agree most of them are in the p4p top 10 in current boxing....what a troll

Both are good, the only problem is lack of opposition. Having defeated Bhop and Pascal, now Kov needs more challenges going forward. Once the Ward fight is over, who does HBO have, unless he moves up.

TC has talent but should be fighting guys better than Lundy at this point.

The thing is, HBO is a movie and TV show channel. They just aren't suited for sports. Look at their hit show, Game of Thrones. It's such a popular show and damn near everyone watches it. They make tons and tons of profit from it's popularity alone. But what about boxing? What do they get from that? Zero, squat, nada.

My only hope is that PBC opens its door to 3 guys in particular from HBO, them being Roy Jones, Hopkins and Max Kellerman. 3 superb commentators who don't deserve to lose their jobs because HBO can't seem to produce profits any longer. It's not their fault that HBO refuses to make good fights anymore.
If you were an actual fan of Boxing you would watch the fights regardless of what platform they air on.

What good fights are lined up in boxing period right now? Not just HBO. Plus it's only 1 month into the the year. Out of those fights I liked Kov vs Pascal and Canelo vs Khan. Both are decent stay busy fights if everything goes according to plans and we get Kov vs Ward and Canelo vs GGG later in the year everyone will be talking about what a monster year for boxing. Way too early to criticize their 2016 lineup. I'm sure many said the same thing last year in Feb and HBO ended up with 2 of the top 3 candidates for fight of the year. The fight of the year. Manny vs Floyd mega fight, Cotto vs Canelo and Fury upsetting Klitch. It's the beginning of Feb people.

I know you trolling...but Where are the facts to support your claim that HBO isn't making a profit on boxing?
