I'm not going to make much of a deal about this, but I saw a lot of ggg fans discrediting lara for calling out ggg while he has a mandatory, but I hardly see the same reaction if Hopkins does it even know ggg still has a mandatory, like I said imho Hopkins is a better fight than wade...

Hopkins said he wanted this fight (well, blatantly hinted at it, said "another similar champion at 160") after the Kovalev loss.

If he could survive Kovalev for 12 rounds there's no reason to say he can't survive Golovkin and he will have a size advantage.

And later at the press conference (~5:20), Dawson says he could make 168, but would prefer his comfort zone of 175. Ward was quoted just 4 months earlier saying he'd take a big fight at 175, but yet he held Dawson to the 168 offer.




Also, DeGale called Ward out last year after he won the IBF title and Ward turned him down. DeGale made fun of Andre for not wanting to fight him.

DeGale has said multiple times GGG is too small for SMW. He'd like to fight GGG but says he's a proper MW.
