Right.... And you also forgot the fact that DLH may have already been hitting at "The Powder" at the time of that fight.

Your comment is dead on..... DLH was a shell of himself when he fought Many. Not the case with Gingerboy. This guy is on his prime, he's strong, and he's fast.

I have said this in every related thread... The kid is going to get seriously hurt. Whatever state commission in charge of this fight should stop this nonsense before we end up with another brain dead boxer (God forbid).

PAC beating DLH was an example of how sobriety can beat ... Well... A coked up faded ex-champ.
Bet the farm on canelo. He only needs to land once.

Pacquiao walked into the ring, based on the day-of weights, as the bigger ****ing man, for ****'s sake!

Please don't let logic escape yourself; Oscar just lost to Floyd, Floyd wasn't giving him a rematch, and he wasn't going to step in with Antonio Margarito (if you can think of any other marketable fight for Oscar, with Top Rank/Golden Boy at 147/154, I'd like to hear it). Arum had him over a barrel and ****ed him, no vaseline; have no doubt in my mind that Arum tied the 147 2nd-day weight to Oscar's payout, insisting on him keeping that **** quiet, to continue to build the bull**** Pacquiao hype machine.
So Pac and Arum dictated terms to Oscar?... It took to the second to last page, but I knew someone would blame Pac... That stunt was all on Oscar buddy. He wanted to fight the winner of Margo/Cotto (he thought Cotto would win) he then renigged when Margo won.

Oscar tried to cherry pick Pac and it back fired. All Pac did was show up.

He was almost as drained and pale-looking as Canelo was against Floyd... funny how it was all about the weight with De La Hoya...but he wasn't drained...he actually had to train and lay off the booze to make weight...unlike the Floyd fight where he came in looking soft around the mid-section..

There is more too it as Freddie trained Oscar and knew he was shot and also knew he couldnt make 147 , Freddie planted the seed with Oscar suggesting they all make a lot of money , still to this day how Oscar thought he could make a weight healthy that he had not made in over 10yrs is just crazy when he could not make 150 for Forbes .

To think Oscar was 147 on fight night is a joke for such a high profile fight its the worst case of drained fighter ever , 154 weigh-in and 168 fight night Oscar would have done a number on Manny , but he got his just desert for being so ****** .
