You mean the fight that was universally panned as a disaster in all financial value. That fight sold like Coke, but everyone left feeling ripped off.

This is exactly why people don't like boxer like they were see too. Filling 80,000 people stadiums was nothing.

Floyd/Manny was a perfect storm, but after the outcome, it'll never happen again. Everyone waited so long, but it turned out that it truly did come too late.
So if your manny/Floyd, or their team, sure the money was great.

For everyone else, the fight came too late. Manny was past his ability to make it competitive. If we're using that fight as proof other fights should wait, it's a flawed system.

It's only a matter of time before Canelo is exposed, whether it be the refusal to fight guys his own size or someone will beat him once he faces a good fighter.

And this was a legendary performance by Cortez:

Speak for yourself. I've seen amateur reff's from amateur fight's call better fights than him. I would run out of fingers and toes to count how many times I've seen this clown show blatant favoritism to popular fighter's especially at home court. And not to mention bad decisions that would almost cost an opposing fighter a fight.

"Fair but firm" Reff's would Include :

          Steve Smoger

          Frank Cappuccino

          Richard Steele

          Arthur Mercante Sr

To name a few, NOT CORTEZ!!!

Late 2017 maybe, I'd put money on late 2018 though.
