Rid**** Bowe was a good fighter, but Lennox Lewis was way better. So, I don't think Bowe could have beat Lewis.

Was a ref stoppage after 3 standing 8 counts if I remember right. Lennox started the first a bit slowly but as soon as he hit Bowe Bowe was shaking all over. Couldn't handle the power LL had at all.

Super Judah, I don't think any Bowe would have beaten Lewis unless LL turned up aka Rahman I. If you compared Holyfield fights you can imagine a Bowe victory, but I think LL genuinely had his number.

It all comes down to the mental aspect.

Bowe was afraid of Lewis for whatever reason, but the fact remains he was never very mentally stable.

Asking what would have happened 'if' he wasn't intimidated by Lewis is really futile.

'If' he wasn't afraid of Lewis, he would have had a different mental make up and a lot of other things may have been possible.

As it was, no, no version of Bowe would have beat Lewis because no version (aside from the young one that got stopped) would have had the balls to get in the ring with him.

I agree with all the points on here.

I looked at Bowe as a poorer version of Lewis in that they were similar in many ways but Lennox was what Bowe aspired to be, the mental aspect comes into it, Bowe for whatever reason did not want to fight Lewis, intelligence is the other, Lewis was too clever for his own good at times but in the fight he would have out thought Bowe and won on a UD comfortably in my opinion.

On a whole I say Lewis beats any version of Bowe. But Lewis is always open to a shock defeat so I wouldn't rule anything out.

That amateur fight doesn't mean ****. Its the amateurs you fools. They were completely diffirent fighters when they were pro.

Bowe beats Lewis atleast 1 time, but i'd say twice because he had the heart and chin lewis didn't have.
