Ward is much better than a 50-year-old Hopkins and Kovalev didn't hurt him the entire fight. He scored a flash knockdown and that was it.

when u see fighters like manny and kovalev not operating many catch and shoots more than likely it is bc they are straight punchers...they are not garcia's, canelo's, or cotto's..those guys are artist of form and fundamental..artist of holding the phone to their cheek while landing there own shot
kovalev and manny are straight punchers that like to get in and out on their own time ..kovalev will stay longer than many bc he is bigger than manny, but he is not their to use a shoulder or elbow to create space and stay flat footed..

lot of ppl like to play the ggg and kov card together bc of skin color, hbo bias, or wat have you, but the tape tells you they are 2 different fight 100%

I think people are under estimating the skills Kovalev have. Ward vs Kovalev will be a back and forth fight. Neither will be dominant. Kovalev and Ward can fight every style, no way there will be a one sided beating. If anything, Ward will get knocked out. LOL!

Well you don't show equality in your preference of a boxer if there skin is white do you tili...and you should practice before you preach.....as for kovalev and pascal.....up untill there fight I never saw kovalev to be racist so I can't comment if he racist 100 percent of the time or whether it was just pascal being all thug life with him and showing no respect which then brought kovalev said Russian upbringng out of him...i was talking to you normal and then you went all Rambo and black panther on me......all I know is for a boxer to show contempt for a fighter after he has severely punished him tells me it's a personal thing..and there's no smoke without fire....but crack on son you have your views and keep showing ur equality in your kind of people as u put it

I don't believe ward will face kovalev.....I honestly think ward wanted the smaller fighter in golovkin and to face him and then bail out of the sport, I just don't think ward really wants to face someone he can't boss physically and he knows kovalev is a completely different beast to any fighter he has ever faced before....I couldn't imagine Carl froch,Kessler or Dirrell going past 9 rounds with kovalev....ward would have to turn back time and produce a performance of a lifetime to beat him , and inactivity and injuries plus moving up to a more risky division tells me he gets stopped by kovalev...I could never see ward bossing Hopkins and manhandling him the way kovalev did...and Hopkins is a real cagey MOF ....this fight don't happen and if ward was really serious about taking this fight...there would be a lot more press about it
