This guy in particular is overseas playing for some European teams. A lot of them just go into the workforce which is the path Wilder was on, same path Jennings was on. These athletes come in all sizes, it's not just limited to HW. James Toney could've easily chosen football over boxing, Shawn Porter too, both standout football players. Holyfield discovered boxing at the YMCA while playing football/basketball, these days much of these boxing programs don't even exist at the Y.

Why do into regular life when you can earn millions as the next heavyweight champion of the world? I mean, if they were truly cut out for boxing you'd think more of them would have tried their hand at it by now.

A lot of guys think it's just too late to compete in a sport where many boxers start as kids, others have no idea how to get into pro boxing or how much they can actually earn.
