But Canelo is a ***** for this middleweight situation and for fighting a welterweight coming off from a yearlong layoff. If the fight was at 154, I would be more than delighted.
I think he has no other choice but to fight at 155 or else he gets stripped

let's see. Canelo is big enough to were he doesn't need a belt and he will continue to sell ppv. Canelo will relinquish if GGG camp doesn't meet his 155 demand. The WBC doesn't want Canelo to relinquish the belt because then GGG stays in obscurity and the WBC will only earn 3% of GGGs 1 million dollar paydays. Or they can find a way to let Canelo keep the belt so they can keep earning 3% of the 8 milly dollar paydays.

I think either GGG eventually gets pressured into the 155lb weight or the WBC finds some kind of loophole for Canelo to keep the belt.

We all know who the middleweight champion is. And it's not Canelo.

is canelo to the point where he's bigger than the belt? yes

Can canelo still sell PPVs without the belt? yes

He doesn't need the belt and GGG can have it and continue to make his 1million dollar paydays if he's happy with that.
