Troll thread.......news flash mike Tyson was forced to give up his WBC heavyweight title for failure to defend his title against mandatory challenger lennox Lewis .....people who don't remember what happened here is a reminder

This is section from wiki please read uninformed trolls

Lewis had the number 1 contender's slot in the WBC rankings when he knocked out Australian Justin Fortune, then defeated former WBO Champion Tommy Morrison in October 1995, followed by Olympic gold medalist and former WBO champion Ray Mercer in a close majority decision in May 1996. Lewis successfully sued to force Tyson to make a mandatory defence of the WBC title against him or force him to give up the title, winning a four million dollar settlement from promoter Don King. Rather than fight Lewis, Tyson relinquished the WBC title to fight Evander Holyfield. The WBC title was declared vacant. This set up a rematch between Lewis and McCall ....it's on Wikipedia lol

Next u trolls will be saying canelo was a bigger name than Mike tyson lol....it's mandatory it's legally binding in court and even if the WBC tried to change the goalposts they will also be taken on court for not sticking to the hovering rules they mandated ........come September your see what happens

So you think the pro Mexican WBC will actually strip Canelo? Let's review
The same WBC that allowed Canelo to fight a third tier 147lber (M Hatton) for their vacant 154 lb title ?
The same WBC that allowed his defense of the 154 lb title vs the number four ranked contender(Rhodes, a joke all by itself) to count as a mandatory?
The same WBC that allowed Canelo to defend the 154 lb title vs not one but two career 140 lbers (Gomez, Lopez)?
WBC strip Canelo? Yeah, no, not gonna happen. It's not fair, but if g string wants this fight and the prestige and $$$ it brings, he will need to bend to the A side.

We can have a bet on it if you want ....what ever you want...unless the WBC will have themselves in court...trust that son

I think GGG ultimately bends to meet Canelo's demands or I doubt we see that fight anytime soon. I think there is reason to be suspect this fight doesn't even happen if GGG bends to meet Canelo's demands tbh. Canelo is "the man" at 160 to many if not most fans with or without a GGG fight.

And the problem for GGG is time isn't on his side. He's either gonna need to fight Canelo at 155 or fight him when he's 35 (2017) or 36 (2018) & arguably not gonna be prime or just on the downside of his career. Neither situation is gonna be ideal for GGG.
If Canelo beats a blown up WW then gets stripped of his title for refusing to fight GGG at 160 he won't be The Man at MW any more. His reputation would take a massive hit and I think a lot of his fans would turn away from him.

If GGG then goes on to win the WBO title Canelo would have to fight him as challenger or hang around in the wilderness fighting lesser names till GGG moves up or retires.

This could all end if Canelo just give up the belt

Thats an assumption you are making. And I highly doubt Canelo will take a "massive hit" for refusing any fight. I'm not sure I've seen anyone taking a massive hit for not taking a fight. Even Rid**** Bowe's rep wasn't taking down THAT much & he clearly avoided Lennox Lewis & threw his belt in the garbage & iirc was still seen as "the man" @ HW for most of the rest of his career (although granted I believe it only lasted another ~5 years).

If GGG then goes on to win the WBO title Canelo would have to fight him as challenger or hang around in the wilderness fighting lesser names till GGG moves up or retires.
As mentioned time isn't on GGG's side & the longer Canelo can remain the title holder the more this type of thing isn't gonna matter plus history tells me GGG isn't gonna be anymore indestructable than anyone else in history & him looking bad or taking a L himself inside the next year or two is gonna have positive effects on Canelo not needing a GGG fight &/or make this fight all the more attractive to GBP as it makes taking the Canelo fight with whatever restictions are asked by GGG & his people anyway.

GGG just needs to realize he holds the worst hand & take this fight now at 155 instead of in 2018 @ 37 or whatever at maybe 160 or hell maybe still 155 or only 157 lol. The bottom line for me is Canelo is gonna win the fight talks however the fight ends up going down or not going down & GGG, K2 & Abel just need to deal with that reality to give him the best payday he can get along with the best options moving forward regardless of the outcome + the best chance to win & all that leans to just submitting to Oscar & Canelo's demands now.

All team gg cares about is the step aside money that's all

Gennady Golovkin is a middleweight, so for Canelo or Khan the limit is 160. They can come in at any weight under 160 they like, but ‘GGG' will not bow to DIVA demands and will fight at 160."

Of course Abel Sanchez doesn't really expect Khan to factor into this equation after May 7th anyway.

"Khan will make for a good fight early as his hand speed will trouble Canelo, but the strength of Canelo will take over in the second part of the fight and that will be the big difference.

"I wasn't really shocked or surprised that this fight got made in the first place as it seems like Canelo's M.O. to take on these type of fights," added Sanchez.

                      What's ggs MO then?
What a moronic thing to say. His guy has never fought anyone minutely close to Khan's accomplishments (and Khan isn't a great fighter or even a very good fighter, IMO).

But Canelo is a ***** for this middleweight situation and for fighting a welterweight coming off from a yearlong layoff. If the fight was at 154, I would be more than delighted.
