Povetkin is a Top5 heavyweight, the best opponent Wilder would have fought so far. I think Povetkin beats Wilder but if Wilder wins i take him seriously. That would be his best win by far. My money would be on Povetkin though.

obviously you would take him seriously.

that's like saying if Karim Mayfield fought and beat Floyd you would have to take him serious. duh.

37 yo Byrd is better than anybody on Wilder's resume, that shows how weak Wilders resume is. You said that Povetkin has no skills, but let me tell you something:

Wilder has absolutely atrocious foot work, his balance is terrible and he rarely throws combinations. When Povetkin according to you is such a bum, I dont even know who Wilder is...

now THAT is tru his footwork isnt the best average in my opinion slightly below average and his BALANCE is TERRIBLE BUT povetkins STYLE is that of a come forward fighter that fits right into the AGGRESSIVE wilders hands to where he doesnt really have to use the footwork to an opponent who comes RIGHT TO HIM

              Your point is?

Povetkin is a 2004 Olympic gold medalist.

Spilka outboxed Wilder before getting knocked out.

Povetkin destroys Wilder and KOs him.

Wilder is limited but has good heart and great power. Would love to see how him vs povetkin would play out. I believe Povetkin is better than both Wilder and Fury. I'm glad the heavyweight division has some interesting matchups and I'll give wilder all the credit if he could take Povetkin out. Im hoping this is the matchup we get next for Wilder.

wilder may not have the footwork he knows how to use that jab and is way more aggressive than klitchko and IF he lands that right hand FLUSH povetkin is gonna get KO'd and be on a boxing meme
I know right, dude is massively overated on here. Just a come forward basic boxer puncher. Nothing overly impressive at all just a solid fighter. Yet ppl make him out to be some sort of mike tyson. I think he might not last the full 12 like stiverne.
