Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder: I Want Alexander Povetkin as Soon as Possible

By Jake Donovan - No sooner than rumors ran rampant a suggested heavyweight title unification clash between Deontay Wilder and Charles Martin, all parties involved dismissed such talks in various forms.

povetkin is overrated and is really a bloated cruiserweight i say bermaine stiverne KO's povetkin i've seen a couple of his fights and he's like a ruslan provodnikov no thrills just a come forward heavybag and with wilder not havin' ANY amateur background i STILL say he KO's povetkin in around 8 or less.
wilder may not have the footwork he knows how to use that jab and is way more aggressive than klitchko and IF he lands that right hand FLUSH povetkin is gonna get KO'd and be on a boxing meme

Personally I think Wilder is going knock Povetkin out. Povetkin is very hittable.

It's honestly the best heavyweight fight out there. I don't buy the Fury thing and I don't take much from the Vladimir fight, it was a one off. Fury's a big clown and nothing else.

Wilder is the hottest HW name and Povetkin is probably the best HW on the planet atm., so this is the fight to be made. In Brooklyn, lots of Russians will show up too.

BUM squad is running scared because Povetkin isn't a bum. Reason why it's taking so long to make the fight and why it'll purse bid. Bum squad pleading with WBC to fight another bum instead
