C'mon it was Margasitos night that night. That is really what it comes down to. The only thing I agree with is that maybe just maybe, he faced marg a little bit to early. But then who is to blame? The trainer for feeling that his fighter is unstoppable? Lets not forget that he has one of the best ko ratios out there. Or do you blame the fighter for taking the fight to lightly? I blame the trainer, I am sure they gassed hm up telling him "look what Santos did to him and you are way better than santos" Te guy fell into it and had a rude awakening. He also probably got caught up with the PR vs Mexico rivarly and underestimated Marg. For what I saw,, I just see it as an off night.
Margarito KO Cry Baby Cintron in a rematch,

Cintron aint ****, seriously stop your nuthugging

Cintron falls apart under pressure...if he fought a guy with power he would be crying home to mommy again...margarito would make him get a new trainer again...cintron was making excuse after excuse on espn why he lost to margarito..it was funny,,,i hope he wins the ibf belt once pbf vacates the belt, then challenges margarito,,,for a rematch....margarito needs to unify all the belts...

I love how you guys talk about fighters like you know them personally. I for one know kermit, he is my girls cousin. When kermit fought margarito he had a whole bunch of personal problems and serious problems with his trainer. On the night of the fight with margarito his trainer even told him I hope you lose the fight. Kermit also had hand surgery not to long before the fight and had a long lay off. It was just a very bad time for him to take a title fight. For people to say that Kermit hasnt improved since he fought margarito are extremely ignorant and dont like kermit for their own biased reasons. I think kermit has a good chance at beating margarito but unfortunately the night that he fought margarito was one of the worst times he could ever fight. Margarito did not fight the real Kermit Cintron that night.

I agree with you. And one must take into consideration that Margarito had about a decade of ring experience more than Cintron at the time of the fight. Cintron has no amatuer experience (he was 3-1 as an amatuer) and never boxed at all until 99'(pro since late 2000), Margarito was fighting pro in 94' and had a significant amatuer career. Cintron was not only lacking mental strength, he was also lacking tons of experience.

Yo, if my trainer tells me that he wishes I lose before I got in the ring, I would've ko'ed his ass in the dressing room. Did that really happen? if so, he should've fought twice that night. That alone must've **** him up mentally. Also the reason for his crying was that he probably had the whole island on his shoulder. His People really wanted him to win, and then to lose in the fashion that he did was quiet humiliating. It also shows that he's human. Anyway PROPS to Cintron as he will be the next best welterweight.

yeah i think that is sorta bias as well i mean seriously thik about it it's one loss Winky wright has 3 antonio has 4 a loss isn't "the" defining moment of a carrer it's a stepping stone to what he will do next. i admit i have only seen cintron in a few fights (5) but that was the one fight that he did crumble, weather or not due to his personal problems, i don't know, but everyone has experienced some hardship in their life and i'm sure they are not on the ball as well as fighting someone the next day. considering that cintron has alot of potential considering his amature background and i hope he just stayes focussed and work on his area of weakness. but o say something like he falls apart under presseure so convincingly is a bit rich, i mean i don't know the guy do you?
