Khan had signed the contract on his side for the Mayweather and Pacquiao bouts. Khan put his career on hold, and waited for months for Pacquiao and Mayweather. In the end, Pacquiao and Mayweather picked different opponents (Maidana, Berto, Bradley) for much less money.


3. Danny Garcia (rematch) (his father has said countless times how he doesn't want Danny to face Khan)

4. Juan Manuel Marquez (way back when Khan beat Barrera. Khan offered JMM the fight. JMM rejected it).

I think you are right about this fight being a big seller. Both Khan and Canelo are extremely popular with a huge army of fans. Probably about a thousand Englishmen will come to Vegas to try to sing Khan to victory. Khan has great speed that many boxers don't want to deal with. Khan is fearless and will fight anybody as he proved by taking on Canelo who is much bigger and one hell of a fighter. Fortunately for Khan Canelo didn't duck him.

-Garcia: Khan brings 10X more money than Gurrero and all them other cherries that Garcia is picking. So, why not fight Khan?

-Mayweather: picked Maidana and Berto over Khan. Took less money by fighting M and B. Mayweather taking the lesser money option? Why? Clear duck.
