There had to be a financial reason Haymon let this fight happen. I figured he'd make bout $400-500k.

******** gonna be getting it in with Haymon after the fight. PM Rath, spoon23, misanthropicNY or Hugh grant to see how many ******** one can get with this kind of money.

Does this hurt GBP's làwsuit as it is proof that Haymon doesn't block any fights from happening?

Great! I'm glad he's making money. If he's making money that means he'll be making more fights.
        Nuff Said!

I think it destroys GBP's lawsuit, and is the exact reason Haymon let it go through.

maybe Haymon has lost so much on PBC that he needs to do this.

                Just speculating....

Wouldn't Oscar know this and refuse to bail Haymon out financially?

No because Khan is an exception to the rule. This has been noted many times over by multiple sources (including Dan Rafael). Khan's contract with Haymon is different from other PBC fighters. He was already a multi-millionaire and a star in the UK when he sought Haymon out, so he had some bargaining power.

He negotiated some independence into his contract that allows him some control over who he fights. That's why he was able to negotiate with Arum for a Pacquiao fight. Khan can fight non-PBC guys as long as Haymon gets his cut.

No one else under Haymon has that autonomy except Amir Khan.
