Why are Floyd Fans so Scared of a Rematch???

The funny part is, floyd had a rematch clause for maidana and a lot of the floyd fans said that's normal for a title fight to have a rematch clause because u never know what might happen, accident, robbed, injury, etc. I wonder why this fight with manny didnt have one?

You'd have to ask Bob. My guess is because of the unique=ness of this fight.

A rematch clause is a protection for the big earner. In this fight, the financials change significantly with a win since both are already huge earners.

You can always negotiate another mega fight.

I didn't say casuals wouldn't pay for the fight. They will. When I refer to fans on here I mean us, the hardcore fans. We know this fight wasn't close.

The "hardcore" fans on here doesnt contribute much so if u guys chooses not to pay its not gonna hurt the numbers. Point being made here is that a lot of people OUTSIDE of this site will pay and is still interested in a rematch.

That doesn't mean one can't disagree or be against the fight. Fighters can fight whomever they chose. Hell we're being fed a pointless trilogy in Pac vs Bradley even though Pac clearly won both.

What I was saying was that to us, it isn't worth having it. If Floyd does come back I'd rather he fight someone who'd give him a competitive fight and not just show up for a retirement paycheck. Especially since every Floyd fight would be on PPV and we'd have to pay if we wanted to watch.

Of course one can disgaree. But your debate at first was that there's no point of a rematch because there's no interest in it which is not true. If they announce a rematch today u know everyone will be talking about it.
