The fight wouldn't sell as much as the first one but it would easily be the biggest fight of the year and more interesting that most of the crap we've been getting. Not to mention it would cement Floyd's legacy by getting to 50-0...

...so why are Floyd fans so opposed to this fight? They are desperate for it not to happen. They are scared of something but I can't put my finger on it. Personally I think Pacquiao is probably done and the result would be the same (maybe Pac does a bit better).

Why aren't Floyd fans confident in their fighter? He's never let them down before. It's almost as if they believe the shoulder injury was real. Lord knows why . . .
because there will be excuses when manny loses....socks, cramps, shoulder, etc.

if the shoulder injury was real there wouldnt have been.....

    a) taking selfies before the fight
b)raising his hands after rounds and the fight
    c) ever heard of a shoulder rub, he didnt complain to his corner nor did he ever wince in pain
d)never brought up the shoulder during max's post fight interview..." he run, he do nothing, he move to much, cant hit him"

Manny isnt and never was good enough to beat floyd.....you're just going to have to learn how to live with it

I am one of the few big Floyd fans on NSB that thinks he is going to fight again. If Bob (Manny) or ODH (canelo) come up with $100 mil. I had hoped he fought GGG if he returned.

Floyd is always going to have the reach, size and skill advantage to neutralize Manny. If you think the outcome changes, ok. Go bet big on Manny.

And again the fight wasn't close enough to warrant a rematch.
I don't pay for fights if they aren't worth my money. If that makes me a "troll", then fine...but what is someone who WILLINGLY spends money on a scam?

What makes you think I hate Mayweather? Boxing needs characters, both good and bad. He understands his role and he plays it well.

You seem confident that he'll win. I think so too...so why are you so hesitant for it to happen?

Whats weird is usually after a floyd victory the floyd fans put up tons of slow motion analysis of the video because they claim you can only appreciate his skill in slow mo, now they mock slow mo, and many of them dont even watch that fight again. Floyd should just give the rematch, he can shut pacquiao up, and really punish him, since he already felt his power and could handle it. If khan beats canelo khan would be a much riskier fight, because he has the speed but his arms are longer than floyds, floyd has never fought a guy with longer reach than him on, khan has reach and speed. If floyd wants safe money he should give pac the rematch, but bradley is probably goong to knock pac out.

I told you. I think Floyd would win again. 2009 maybe it's a different story, who knows?

I doubt Floyd would fight GGG and I wouldn't expect him to. Weight classes still have some meaning.

So you don't pay for fights you claim aren't worth it. In an earlier post you said you didn't pay for the Floyd/Manny fight.

If that fight wasn't worth it, why would you be on here complaining about a rematch to a fight you didn't deem worthy in the first place? Must be here to troll.

Why would 2009 be different? was Floyd shorter? were his arms shorter? was he slower or less skilled?

Floyd always was and always will be a bad matchup for Manny. Floyd possess the tools to take away what Manny does best.

The thread isn't about me, it's about Floyd fans. Did you read the original post?

For me personally there are four levels of interest:
                  1) Fight is worth paying for.
                  2) Fight is worth watching for free.
                  3) Fight is worth looking up the next day on youtube for the highlights.
                  4) Fight isn't worth watching at all.

Floyd v. Pac was a 2 on the scale for me. Interesting enough to watch but not to pay for.

Rather, Manny was a markedly better fighter in 2009. His decline was much steeper than Floyds imo.

You may be right. As I said, who knows what would happen? All I know is it would have been a more interesting and worthy fight. I don't think anyone would disagree on that.

Floyd fans aren't scared, if anything most Floyd fans would love another rematch so their boy could easily beat Manny again.

Boxing fans on the other hand, don't want the fight again because if Floyd does come back, we'd rather spend our money on a worthy fight than a fight in which Floyd dominated.
Seriously maybe you're stream was bad when you watched the fight, but watch it again in HD. Fight wasn't even close.

Not to mention if the biggest fight in boxing Floyd vs Manny wasn't worth paying to you, then what the hell is? Have you even paid for a fight? What kind of boxing fan are you?
