When Floyd said I want my fighters healthy, At the time, he hadn't fought a title fight at a CW so he was 100% accurate with his statements. Which is why it bothers those that do not like him so much and why they went ape **** when he fought Canelo at 152.

Floyd had fought at 154 when he fought Canelo at 152. Manny had fought at 147 when he fought Cotto at 145. The reason you think Floyd is worse is because you don't like him. No more, no less.

ding, ding, ding....Canelo didnt fight like a drained fighter, he just had an opponent at a higher skill set than he was used too...nothing more or less

Yeah. It pisses us real fans off. Manny is one of my favorite fighters ever and he gets "0" credit for the win over Hoya. The Cotto fight wasn't as bad and still counts in my eyes. They were both champions and Cotto weighed in at 145lbs for Clottey. With Floyd, he had fought Oscar and Cotto at 154lbs but not Canelo. Why? Was he SCARED? Was Floyd roiding then? Probably. These are legit questions. If they fought right now, Canelo would beat his ass!!!!!

Homie, here is where we disagree. I think any CW is done solely for advantage, whether its Floyd, Manny or whomever.

I also disagree with posters (some of whom I am very cool with) that 2 lbs makes no difference. For non athletes, 2 lbs is nothing. For athletes, I think its a bigger deal.

When you had the original divisions, I understood CW's and why you have them.

CW's today are like tax loopholes for investors-they are tools for the rich, which makes them inherently problematic.

i'd think it made a different if he had fought different, looked sick, drained or fought like it...... like others ive seen in the past, like Roy jones, DLH, others etc......the problem was skill in my eyes, not weight

Canelo was the same old canelo....natural counterpuncher...he was just in with a superior fighter imo

Did Canelo even win more than 1 round?

Easy work!!!!!!!!!!! Canelo was crying, that had to be hard, id rather get KOd than embarrassed 12 rounds and not be able to hit the mfker that has to be a frustrating thing. I sparred my boy and couldn't hit him and he pretty much hit me when he wanted. that was only 4 rounds I was frustrated as hell!!!!!
