i dont like the fight but i dont mind the fight.

does nothing for canelo, but does everything for khan.

he finally gets his ppv super fight and exposure and canelo's name on his resume win or loss this is great for khan. as for canelo, shameful tactics not worthy of a lineal middleweight champ or a tru aztec mexican warrior.

if matthew hatton can last 12 so can khan.

    canelo's power is overrated.

More interesting to see what this fight does on American Pay Per View, if
Khan is virtually unknown in America then that means Canelo alvarez is going to generate all the PPV buys...In that case this fight should not do more then 500,000 max. Anything above that puts the above theory to bed.

Khan has always had a problem being called chinny since the 54 second mauling at the hands of Prescott but then got through some terrible moments against Maidana (where a lot of referees would have stopped it) to come out with a points victory. Then came the knockout at the hands of Garcia where many thought it was over.It must have been at best confusing for Amir but then he lied , trying to imply that he had sparred many rounds with his super middle stable mate Andre Ward and taken his best punchers. If Amir is going in to prove he can dig and take here this is going to be a matter of minutes. As i've said from the start many think it's a cop out by Canelo and it simply shouldn't be happening, it is ! everyone's surprised and I'm hopeful this is not the time for Khan to prove how macho he is....again until we get to the bottom of it ,which we may never do .....good luck.
Did you not read the article? Larger crowds do not translate necessarily to larger revenues than Vegas crowds.
I'm sure Khan and the lawyers he pays to look after his best interest weighed the situation and realized they'd make more money fighting Canelo than Brook. If he'd would make double with Brook, I'm sure he'd take it.

Angulo and Lara with Canelo did around the 300 t. range so yes your statement makes sense as Canelo has since moved more into the public eye.

Error £10million u.k pounds equals $14.7million u.s dollars based on todays exchange rate. £10mil was khans open demand, hearn offered khan a 60-40 split in his favor of a £12million pot which would have given khan £7.2million guarantee ($10.5million) khan rejected and wanted 80-20 split wich is £10mil but they were negotiating according to hearn untill khan signed up for this.
Im guessing they Probably would have settled around 67-33 £8mil khan - £4mill Brook split.
                  (£8m= $11.68m)

I don't think you are sure of anything by the sound of it , weigh up the figures and you'll find he would make many more dollars fighting Brook.

A payday of $8,000,000 for Khan assumes 2 things

                      1. Canelo is a massive PPV star for whom the suckers will pay anything to watch

                      2. Khan has a massive UK fan base

                      Neither is true

The fight will be lucky to do any more than average PPV numbers and I'd be surprised if Khan walks away with much more than 50% of what he would have earned against Brook

As a guide to its success, most "experts" predicted that a Mayweather/Khan would do circa 800,000 buys

Unfortunately, Canelo is not in the same league as Floyd as an attraction whilst Khan has lost virtually all support at home via inactivity/his actions

Try as he might, it's going to be very difficult for Oscar to polish this turd
