I'm pretty sure it was 8 million gauruntee and an 80/20 split for brooks. Thats why the fight didn't happen with brook because everyone seeing it as he didn't want the fight with that ****** demand.

I think goldenboy are actually at fault here because there desperate for ppvs and there putting numbers in front morality
Yeah it's plain to see that unfortunately Ocar's again off and running !
I take offence that good fighters are being overlooked who are more worthy and more able , all involved here are at fault, nothing died at the WBC when Suliman sr, popped his clogs.....anyway here we go....dancin with the stars!

          Freddie Roach

          February 3, 2016:

          On Marquez-Cotto

"I don't think it's gonna happen. I think it would be a great fight, but Marquez would be a tune-up fight, and there's just no time for a tune-up fight at that weight. So we are looking to fight maybe a little later this year, but there's no opponent yet, and Gaby has given me a couple names, and I've said yes to a couple and no to a couple. I said no to Amir Khan actually. At this point, I don't think we want to fight a guy who's gonna run and try to make us look bad. Miguel coming off a close loss in his last fight, I think we need to be impressive to keep the crowd on our side."

Freddie Roach discusses a variety of topics, including Manny Pacquiao, Frankie Gomez, Miguel Cotto, Sergey Kovalev, Jean Pascal, and more.

          I'm glad Oscar said yes!

8 million seems lower than I would have guessed.. There is probably more to it. Willing to bet there is some back end money for Khan in this too.

Hopefully after Khan gets KTFO'd by Canelo... Trump becomes president and bans khan and all other ******s from entering the country to put salt on the wounds.... then we never have to hear about this joke of a fighter anymore.

wouldn't he then send Canelo back to Mexico and build a wall to keep him out?

He would actually keep everyone who is here legally. So they would both stay and shutupmeg could have a few more years of entertainment from these foreign born boxing ***els on this grand American stage!
