I think with the right game plan, ring size, and a little luck Khan can win. Speed kills, he just can't square up ever with Canelo. Also is Canelo's quickness overrated or underrated (punching acceleration)? If Canelo is slow compared to Khan then Khan can definitely win. I think Canelo at 155 is a bit drained too.

Honestly I am interested in the fight. I know Canelo is a good puncher from Cotto's reaction to his power but remember what happened to Cotto when Pacquiao punched him, or the comparison between Maidana hitting Mayweather or Canelo hitting Mayweather.

I think that Khan definitely has a chance. I also think he would have a better chance with Roach as his trainer. I don't like how he's been looking ever since he switched trainers.

Cotto was knocking people out at Welterweight. Cotto knocked out fighters at 159 and 157. Cotto is a better boxer than Khan. Cotto wasn't able to hurt Canelo at 155. Khan has fought Collazo, Algieri, and Alexander at WW. Khan was only able to knock Collazo down. The only thing Khan has over Canelo is speed. But we don't even know if that speed will carry at 155. And Canelo isn't slow. He's very efficient with his punches and they're crisp. There is nothing in Khan's arsenal that can bother Canelo. Khan will be on his bike after one punch. He won't be able to clinch and out muscle Canelo. I'll be surprised if this goes beyond 4 rds.

gutsiest move by a fighter ever tho , alteast top 5 given his chin and his opponent's punching power

I genuinely don't think Khan will realize just what he's done until he feels that first punch.

His team seem to be yes men that tell him he can do anything, but when the night arrives and he feels the power...there's nowhere to go but the canvas.

Yeah Khan is strangely gutsy for a fighter with mostly deer-like attributes. I don't know what the hell he's thinking. He's going to literally be ragdolled maybe in the first round. It'll be funny I guess, since Khan is such a blockhead, but Canelo should be ashamed of himself.

I don't care man Khan is gangster as hell for getting in the ring, he's going to feel some serious pain though.

Boxing needs fights like this, shake things up, its good for the sport

Yeah I think it will be similar to Lucas Mathysse vs Mike Dallas jr.

But If khan can go six rounds that will be a moral victory of sorts, we can look forward to Broner vs Khan at the end of the year.

Khan will start off trying to box disciplined and smart, but he'll get flustered and resort to his many bad habits. He'll throw some fast arm flurries that will get some people excited, but it won't really be effective.

Canelo will time Khan and land on his shaky chin, and the fight will be over not too long after that.
