The 155 callout is just a sham in my opinon. They know GGG refused to move down to 155 for Canelo in a unification title fight so why would he do that for Brook who has no belt at the weight. GGG isn't going to weight-drain himself like that, unless there's some crazy money on the tabe, like 10 million. Seems like it's all talk, they're just trying to keep Brook's name in the media with a fake callout imo, pretending to mirror Khan's announcement to fight Canelo at 155.

Because gg is begging and whining for a big fight and here it is .

Brook is a superstar in the uk both fighters make at least 5M
If gg wins he gains all the uk fans

Brook isn't a superstar in the UK by any means. Probably Khan, Haye, Froch (retired) and Joshua are the main superstars but Brook is well below them in the popularity/public awareness stakes.

To give you an idea using social media stats, which is a reliable indicator these days:

            Khan 1.67 Million followers
            Haye 1.09 Million followers
            Froch 535 Thousand followers
            Joshua 468 Thousand followers
            Brook 267 Thousand followers

I think brook vs gg at 155 is a huge fight in the UK?
Sold out stadium + multi millions generated
Both would be great fights. A fight with Cotto is big money, and a great name still to have on your resume, but this version of Cotto, I think he loses a close fight. Golovkin is another huge fight, I think Brook loses that fight, but I don't know if GGG stops him.

Well that's why I think he doesn't get stopped. I agree about Brook, to me the only better WW is Bradley.

This is becoming routine for Brook. He calls out big names, then fight No no dans.

I'd rather see this guy disappear from the sport and stop injecting his irrelevant ass.
