Great fight if it happens, but seems highly unlikely Eddie Hearns is not capable of delivering. Brooks entire focus is getting a fight with Amir Khan. There seems to be no realistic plan B.

So they are gonna keep mentioning Khan.

      I fear that maybe true.

If their whole plan is "Brook beats Khan then becomes a star" it's a bad idea.

I dont know it has been really frustrating being a Kell Brook fan. To be fair to Eddie Hearn ..."Brook beats Khan becomes a Star" was intitiated when Kell was signed with Frank Warren I remember they started sending out press releases
around about the time Khan fought Paulie Malignaggi, calling on Khan to step up to Welterweight to fight him. Since then it has been the only strategy and on paper looked an easy strategy.

The strange thing is Two former Brendan Ingle fighters used the same tactics and failed. Herol Graham chased a fight with Tony Sibson, and was ignored.
Then same thing with Junior Witter....This method of trying to Goad, Mock and ridicule Khan and use a social media campaign against him, to force into taking the fight has had the opposite effect, Hearn mentioned in his interview with Kugan Cassisus last week that one of the reasons Khan has been reluctant is that he feels like " Why should I give Brook a Payday."

So Come 2017 Hearn is going to announce he has booked Wembley for Khan vs Brook so we will probably get a rinse and repeat of this year.

I think there is more chance of Khan fighting Cotto in the future then there is of Brook fighting Cotto,.

Brook gave an interview to Sky sports today... He basically said once Khan has fought Canelo he should come back down to Welterweight to take on the Big fights that are available at welterweight.....!

I just wonder how long Brook/Hearn can keep flogging this dead horse of a fight to the public as an excuse to keep fighting lesser opposition. I suspect sooner rather then later there is going to be backlash from the fans.

He was just honest really. He knows that the fight will still be there.

Well I wonder what its going to take for Kell Brook to realise that Khan is not going to give him a payday or the opportunity to become a National star overnight. Its not happening Ever.

The fight has to happen at one stage or another.

The reality is that the fight will be there regardless of Khan's performance.

I would love for Kell to say screw it forget it. But the truth is that it's just the biggest fight for him and the biggest fight he could have in his career.

I think Khan is going to do what Hatton did to Witter refuse to give him a payday out of spite....Its only the biggest payday for Brook if he gets the fight.

Two huge fights in the summer months. Might be a hard fight to make though, Hearn isn't the best and Cotto is notoriously difficult to deal with.
Hearn took money out of his own pocket to make Frampton/Quigg and is the most open and honest promoter alive...I honestly do not understand the criticism.
