PBC is cracking.

I actually think there is much more going on here. There might be something more expansive (involving a combination of the major players in boxing) on the horizon. And for some reason I think Richard Schaefer may be at the center of it all.

I have noticed Duva's tone has changed very dramatically over the last few months. Eddie Hearn has stated publicly that he is on the same page with Haymon and is assisting with dealings for a TV deal in the UK. I also noticed that GBP did not file an amended complaint against PBC (correct me if I am wrong but only Top Rank has to this point). This next year is going to be interesting.

Is anyone really surprised that they're trying to build up the fight? I mean, Pascal's ring walk music included an excerpt of the "Rocky" theme. Later, Stevenson did his best to imitate Clubber Lang; "I'm the champ!" Lots of people want to see this fight, but how many are willing to drop PPV $$? I blame Stevenson for any lack of enthusiasm, brought about by his BS fights of late.

I thought this was a pathetic attempt by HBO to copy what happened with wilder/fury because it got so much positive press afterward.

The difference is Fury and Wilder are entertaining when they communicate while Kov and Adonis are not.

We agree why we found it entertaining. The reason Adonis wasn't allowed to speak is because of the nature of HBO's relationship with Haymon and the fact it likely will not get the kov/Adonis fight.

SHO doesn't have that issue with Fury's manager and stands a good chance of landing the fury/wilder fight on regular sho or SHO PPV.

Even if it was an act, roach aint got nothing to do with it so why is he even talking about it? Plus, the hugging part in the locker room could be both of them coming to terms and agreeing that they'll fight eachother so they probably shook on it by hugging.

You're article does not dispute the quote I posted:

I really don’t know the logistics of their contract, but I dealt with Shah and [the Khan attorney]. ... I have no idea [of Haymon’s involvement].”

Just because Oscar doesn't know about Haymon's involvement, doesn't mean Haymon wasn't "advising" Mr. Khan. Amir's tweet thanked "Team Khan and Al Haymon."

I don't know why FightHype is a bad source. Remember when the "fake" contracts were put on blast? That was FightHype. Remember when Koncz had to publicly apologize, that was FightHype. Oscar and Arum are not the most truthful promoters in the game.
