No, I'm trying to show that the people that slam Floyd for this follow a fighter that does it even worse. I don't like that either guy does it, but I hate it when fans that follow one guy ignore the stuff he does while bashing another fighter for doing exactly the same thing. It happens way too much here and it's ****ing weak.
Pac has more catchweight fights in his career than Floyd.
You've got a million rabid Pac fans in here all *****ing about Floyd and Canelo, while forgetting that Pac won his 8th 'world title' with one of the worst catchweight fights in boxing history. Even if you ignore the 4 pound catchweight you can't ignore that it was between two unranked fighters at 154. If I bash Pac for it, it's only because you've got a million Pac fans that are in here slagging off Floyd for fighting the top guy 2 pounds below the limit...Cotto fight anyone?
Regarding that Cotto fight, you'll hear Pac fans try to justify it saying Cotto came in at 146 in his previous fight and so one more pound wouldn't make a difference...well, Canelo also came in one pound below the limit in his previous before Floyd, so he only had to drop one pound too. You dont ever hear that though do you?
If Floyd draining Canelo makes him a coward compared to Khan fighting him at 155, then Pac draining Cotto makes him a coward compared to Floyd fighting Cotto at the full 154 limit when Cotto was having his best career resurgence. See the hypocrisy here?
Catchweights suck all around, whether it's Floyd, Pac, Canelo, GGG or anyone else. I don't like them, but even more than that, I dont like when people are massive ****ing hypocrites about it when they argue and bash one fighter for it, calling them cowardly, ducking *****es or whatever, while simultaneously sucking off their favourite fighter for doing exactly the same ****. It's absolutely pathetic.
I dont think it made any difference against Cotto, just like I dont think it made any difference against Canelo. I've only ever replied to morons like the TS and the douchebag Pac fans in here trying to point out the hypocrisy and play devils advocate to their ******ity. What Floyd and Pac have done with catchweights have both been poor form for such dominant guys, though the Marg one takes the cake by far. I can see that, but it seems a lot of fans are too deluded to see it from their own favourite fighter while ****ting on other fighters who also do it.
