Lara was getting trapped and hit and he's 10x the fighter Khan is.

      This is a mismatch.

Alvarez does not belong in middleweight division. He took a title from a 154 guy, and now he fights a 147 guy. What a joke.

I agree , can't see a way he can win .It shouldn't really be happening and will be a hard sell as a lot were hoping for GGG.
but reluctantly I wish him well for his undoubted courage (or ******ity) on this occasion.

Well at least on paper this fight sucks. However it's a winnable fight for Khan because he has the reach and speed advantage over Canelo whose feet is a lot slower, a natural counter puncher and one who doesn't throw a whole lot of punches. In addition, he fights in spurts. If he plays it safe Amir can pull off the upset on points.

Will khan speed be too much for the Mexican Warrior or will Canelo skillset be too much for Khan to overcome.

Haters are gonna hate on this fight but if you a mayweather fan you shouldent hate, if you a danny garcia fan you shouldent hate etc etc
Sorry but no. Khan struggled not only in 147, but in 140...against C levels. He got dropped by C levels. Canelo is not a C level. And he is not 140 lbs. Come fight night, he will be damn near 180. Canelo is a hard hitter and Khan has a weak chin with a weaker defense. On top of that, Khan has also been inactive for a year, while Canelo has been fighting consistently. Miguel Cotto was too small for Canelo. Speed is a very overrated quality, because speed is the easiest thing to counter for a guy with good timing. People are too mesmerized by Khan's speed that they forget that it's his also his worst enemy. Sorry, but this is a mismatch. The fight sells, not because it's a good fight, but its two big names with a country behind both. I think Khan is rushing into big fights too much. Instead of targeting the Mayweathers, Pacquiaos, and Canelos, he should avenge his loss against Danny, then fight Brooks or Thurman-Porter winner. In another words, conquer his own division before moving up to face the champ in the next. Khans got balls, I'll give him that. But he's ****** as ****. He really thinks he's bigger than what he really is.

He definitely has a hell of an uppercut. He pull counters with it lol.

Khan has been talking himself into a big fight for a while, and he finally got it. He'll be violently KO'd, but props to his heart.

see the problem with that is haymon wasnt offering those fights up for Khan, he wanted those but haymon has other plans for those fighters. Khan has been voicing his dissatisfaction with haymon for awhile. He finally landed his big fight.

Khan has good all around boxing skills, decent power and the questionable chin. Canelo has gotten better but still seems to have problems with boxers. If Khan wins, he's hoping to draw Mayweather out of retirement. Challenge him to a fight in Wembley Arena. Hoping to make the money Mayweather-Pacquiao made. Just my opinion.

Um, Canelo is actually a better skilled boxer than Khan.
