It's simple.

This is one of those fights that has "surprising result" written all over it. One of those that shows most of us don't know much about the sport. And also one of those where the narrative gets rewritten after the fight and most fans pretend they didn't think this was an epic mismatch before the fight started.

No it doesn't. Khan is going to sleep. There is nothing he brings to the dance that Canelo hasn't seen before. Use common sense. Lara is a better fighter than Khan. He punches harder, his chin is better, and he is smarter. Canelo knows how to adjust to his opponents and has a high ring IQ. So, what is Khan going to do? Out speed Canelo to death? Last time I checked, Canelo hands are fast as well. Do not expect some super performance from Khan. Fighters have behavior, just like regular people do. When Canelo starts to hit his body and chin, he will BREAK. Khan is no SRL or Sweet Pea or Pacquiao.

I've become more sympathetic to Khan lately but I can't see this ending with anything other than a brutal KO.

Khan would have to fight the absolute perfect fight to pull this off.

I disagree.. Canelo can easily win a decision as well. Khan trotting around the ring slapping while Canelo lands hard staggering shots. Khan barely beat Algerie. I wish the odds werent so lopsided so i could be on canelo. But vegas arent fools lol

Khan's too fleshy and bloated at 155, i thought he would be a few pounds under the limit. 147 is a much better weight for him, he was in great shape for Alexander and Collazo.

For someone who is only 5'8, Canelo looks drained at 155. Khan also looks shorter than 5'10.
