This fight is disgusting. All the 154 and 160 pounders in the world and GBP and Canelo choose to fight a 147 pounder with the 160 title on the line. This is bull siht.
As much as I dislike Khan I hope he puts on the fight of his life an embarrasses Canelo and GBP for even staging this fight because a Canelo victory does nothing for Canelo's resume what so ever in my opinion.
So lest see --- If Khan gets KO'd we can forget about a Brook fight and if he's truly back to being a GBP fighter then we can forget about seeing him against any PBC fighter unless it's a purse bid situation.
If Canelo loses this fight there goes the GGG fight. They have to realize losing to Khan is not the equivalent of losing to Floyd, the outcome would be disastrous in so many ways for Canelo.
Oscar definitely must be getting super high if he thinks this is a big fight or even a fight the fans are demanding. To me this is worst than Pac-Bradley 3 and FMJ-Berto combined.
Canelo is far more skilled, he's bigger, stronger, harder hitting, has better timing and a much higher ring IQ.
Canelo is the better boxer in this fight. Clearly.
Yeah I know Canelo is the better fighter, even Khan fans can't deny this.
It is a mismatch but for some reason I think it could be exciting.
I didn't see it coming but looking forward to it haha
I like both fighters but this is not good. Sure Khan was begging for a big fight but he does not posses the skill set of Floyd to handle Canelo. This might not end well but he begged for it and got it so good for him.
For Canelo on the other hand this is just sad and shows that there is no one in the GBP stable that he can fight. He needed a name opponent and couldnt find one so he dragged a WW up. Not a good look.
But in the end like i said i like both fighters so im excited. Might even make trip for this one
This really is a win win for Khan, and a lose lose for Canelo. If AK somehow pulls off the upset...he is the face of the sport, and holds all the aces. If he loses, well its expected, and no one really gonna give him much of a chance anyways so his career wont exactly be dead.
Canelo on the other hand...well...no matter what the outcome is, he is going to get it, and with GGG lurking in the shadows, this DOES NOT help his case to wanting to the next DLH, Floyd, Pac, ect.
