Ultimately, it was what we expected.
Fast start from Khan, but it was only a matter of time before Canelo adjusted to his speed and took control. He did that, began to outbox him and then finished him Mortal Kombat Fatality style.
Props to Amir for getting in there, but it turned out to be the mistake that we knew it would be.

It is sad that these mismatches pass for 'exciting fights', though I have to praise Khan for taking on the challenge. As for Canelo, despite all the talk I'd say he will end up fighting Saunders or Jacobs in September, is there any other likely option? I wouldn't be surprised if the WBC make him an emeritus champion when he avoids the GGG fight so that he can fight whoever else he wants.

Brutal knockout, but was to be expected.
Khan was making Canelo look like a telegraphed ameture in there at times.
Bur the size difference was simply too much, at one point in the fight Canelo lifte Khan up in the air.
Khan was unable to clinch, i think there was only 2 clinches in the entire fight.
He took Nelo's left hooks and bodyshots well, that right hand however was like a baseball bat to the face
Khan needs to go back to 47, where he is able to hold guys an stay in the pocket long to let off more shoots. Asides for the knockout, he was in that fight and clearly the better boxer
but weight classes exist for a reason..and that was proven last nightLast edited by FrankieBruno; 05-08-2016, 05:34 AM.

I agree with Lederman's scorecard, Khan won rounds 1 and 2 but then he kinda started Lara'ing in round 3 and on. I don't know what people were seeing Khan was doing in round 3 that so many gave it to him. Canelo's body punching was excellent, and he didn't panicked at all at Khan's success, but that's probably because he already knew that was going to go down like that. Khan will always be really good in the first few rounds.
Khan might have won round 3 and been up 3-2, but I can't see him winning 4 or 5. He didn't do much and was getting hit with big shots.
