Even in PPV buy Gatti imo is a bigger draw than Castillo...Don't get me wrong, a Cotto-Castillo fight would do great PPV numbers but Gatti-Cotto could match those PPV numbers and sell more in the gate if the fight is done in NY or NJ.

Maybe if they didnt have a huge buyer base for pay per views, they'd be less or even none. The Puerto Rican thing of buying pay per views to me is a myth. Half the buyers for PR pay per views are adverage boxing fans.

It's a huge injustice to the PR fans that they are putting Cotto in for such big fights already. He's had less than 30 fights and already they are talking about Castillo....I think that's too soon, it's certainly faster than Hatton progressed. Winning a major belt could have been a bad thing for Cotto. Whatever you say about Cotto (Lacy at 140lbs springs to mind), you can't argue with his record, he's won some big fights already, taken some unbeaten records off dangerous fighters and will kill Gatti.

            He won't beat Ricky though.

              Yeah,**** that fight.

Yeah I see how the gatti fight can have its benefits in $ for cotto. But **** this fight.

Cotto-Castillo is what needs to happen @140.I know Cotto would be stronger @147 but to be fair to castillo,He's still to make the real jump to 140.I dont think the fight would have the same draw or appeal to fans if it happened @147 homie.

True that, not being racist or nothing, but they are BIG boxing fans and aren't too fortunate to be blessed with lots of money., but you are correct, sir.

I dont care to see Cotto kill Gatti. He would box early then wreck him, it would be ugly. I wanna see Cotto-Castillo.
