Why do blacks discredit kovalev/GGG/ or any non black fighter?

dude if 1 or 2 posters call you that, you can't use that to generalize all Floyd fans. This is NSB, I got called a ******* the night of Floyd/maidana 1 because I posted Maidana controlled the middle of the ring. DO I strike you as pro Manny?.

As for HBO, I am one of the most vociferous critics of HBO recently. When have I ever posted or implied HBO is racist?

WHat is really going on is whenever a fair criticism is made about GGG/Manny/Klits/ and some other popular fighters on NSB, posters that are fans of them can't really refute the criticisms so they immediately decide the poster is black and the criticism is race based as a means of deflection. Its as if you believe if I paint the poster a certain way, then I take away the power of the criticism. Pathetic.

Well, I wasn't talking about you personally.

And aside from the people who assumed that I was a Manny fan, I've seen plenty of posts by others saying how much they hate GGG's fans here, how most of them are closet Manny fans who jumped ship after Manny lost to Floyd etc.

A few people constantly posting the same **** multiple times in every thread concerning a certain fighter, sometimes as alts, can create a false assumption, and a lot of resentment, among fans of that fighter who start believing that all the criticism he gets is racially motivated or driven by some other biased agenda

And as I said in my earlier post, that cuts both ways.

What I've noticed over the years is, fans of all nationalities will like any fighter regardless of nationality so long as they have an exciting style and come to fight. On the other hand I've noticed that many black fans dislike any white/european fighters who receives any type of praise and/or is making noise in the sport (GGG/Kovalev).

I'm Puerto rican. My favorite fighters of all time come from all nationalities and backgrounds. I've even rooted against PR fighters at times.

That go's for me as well......all my idols in boxing are from different cultures...Leonard,Ali,Duran,Lewis,pacquaio,Chavez ,golovkin and so on....I have become accustomed to certain posters on this site that simply are either racist or jealous of the success that non black fighters are getting at the moment..... The names Spring out are pigeons,shoulderroll,TMT,the real pugilist,aboutfckntime...I don't class texasboi as like that I just think he is nuts......the site went mental yesterday because I favoured golovkin over toney lol.....it's always the usaul suspects who are constantly putting certain white fighters Down.....it's so obvious

LOL it's their only defense. I mean, opinions on Kovalev & GGG couldn't be more split. Most people think Kovalev is a top five pound for pounder and are looking forward to seeing him against Ward in a true superfight. Just because we don't buy the GGG hype doesn't mean it's an alabaster skin thing.

I completely agree with this, I'm really excited about a Ward-Kovalev bout. Should be a pretty great event.

Im a Messican American, and Ive said this once and I will say it many times. IMO, it does seem like a lot of NSB posters look for someone to beat "the black guy." Its pretty obvious when you have posters screaming for Andre Ward (of all people) head. Ward seems like one of the nicest/genuine guys you could ever meet but people want Kovalev to tear him apart. Why? I dont think we will ever here the true answer unless Donald Trump answers that question on behalf of the Kovalev fans.
