It kind of hit me just how hard Kovalev punches after the Fonfara/Cleverly fight. Fonfara's not a huge puncher, but he has solid power. Cleverly walked through it without ever looking visibly hurt for 12 rounds. The guy couldn't even get through the 3rd fully conscious against Kovalev.

Pascal has some balls to fight that man twice. For all the ****** **** he has said, there's no doubting his warrior mentality.

He absolutely blitzed Cleverly and Fonfara, who has some pop, managed to break his nose but he couldn't drop him or stop him.

The kind of power Kovalev possesses is a huge game changer no matter who he fights.

Roach was never gonna do ****, trying to change Pascal, making him throw the left, telling him he has one of the best lefts in boxing. Pascal is a wild man and you have to let him be wild, that's how he beat Dawson, that's how he gave Hopkins pretty tough rounds, that's how he was successful in spots in the first fight vs Kovalev, and that's also how his fight with Froch was a close war, and the fights with Diaconu too were wars. Pascal was wild in all of those fights. Now he looked the worse he's ever looked when he was tamed and trying to follow Roach's advice.
