Which is a stronger punch: The Kovalev left jab or Andre Ward left hook?

I'll even throw Ward's straight right in there. Are either Ward's left hook or straight right more powerful than a Kovalev jab?

I know I shouldn't be making this thread. If Ward or Jay Z read it, and the incoming 75%-25% poll in Kovalev's favour, they will never come out of witness protection.
    31
    Kovalev jab
    77.42%
    24
    Ward lefthook or right hand
    22.58%
    7

    The poll is expired.

All depends on who its landing on , as for raw power Kov would probably hit the circus bell before Andre would .

It feels harsh to even say it lol But Kova's jab is obviously stronger than any punch Ward has.

Ward hasn't dropped a guy for how long? I admit I haven't paid close attention to his career so I couldn't tell you, but Kova has dropped Pascal + Caparello with jabs. It's insane, and surely must be the best in boxing. Either him or GGG have the best jab in my eyes.

Andre Ward fans on suicide watch after the poll result becomes apparent. You can't really even argue that either of Ward's best punches are stronger than Kova's jab lol. Ward needs to rely on his feet to try and delay the inevitable against KillaKov, it's his only hope for some semblance of honour.

Floyd was rarely the harder puncher and won them all , Andre has some very slick boxing ability and that can negate power , its not about who punches the hardest , its about who lands with the power shots and who dont , Kov is very strong and a big physical raw boned LH , but he is also a bit robotic and mechanical , its a great fight .

Ward is not a power puncher. He knocked out Dawson who was weight drained and is very chinny anyway. Kovalev doesnt have to worry about getting hit, he has to worry about getting clinched and headbutted, while the oakland ref warns Kovalev.

It's a sad state of affairs for Ward to have to accept that he couldn't even exchange a flush left hook for a flush left jab. He's end up on his ass and Kovalev would just end up angrier.

The lead headbutt-clinch combo will be in full affect. Kovalev cant afford to **** around like he did vs Hopkins. It it goes to the scorecards and Ward even wins 3 rounds you know Jay Z will have a crafty 2 million at least to spend on making the judges see the fight the wrong way.

Kovalev has the edge in power but boxing isn't always about who can hit the hardest. Being able to land sharp, accurate punches while taking your opponent out of their game plane has it's advantages.

Kovalev im sure has dropped or ko'ed someone with his left punch or jab. I dunno if Ward has ko'ed or much less dropped anyone with his left hook. Got to give it to Kovalev.

Ultimately, Ward hugging and headbutting are the strongest of them all.

The fact that you guys are already making excuses while Ward fans haven't made any excuses is very telling. Why don't you just relax, and wait for the inevitable fight to come, and enjoy the fight. The best man will win.
