Agreed. Hell Toney might even pull an Iran Barkley on GGG. We know GGG has to fight mid-range in order to be at his best, and Toney could do some real damage in the cut.

Toney I think would survive the onslaught but lose a wide enough decision. Look at the Jirov fight for proof. No way Toney won that on the cards. GGG would inflict a beating many times worse than that.
That's not a prime Toney. Roy, McCallum, Toney, Hagler, Leonard, Hearns, all beat Golovkin. I doubt Golovkin beats a middle weight Trinidad or Oscar. Why? We have not really seen him fight anyone yet.

I get people think Kov resume is much better, because he beat up aging grandpa B-hop.

But if you really break it down, there isn't a clear delineation. You look at what opponents done before and after a fight.

(I'll never understand why people put so much value in a name, and less on actually skill at the moment the fight happened. Do that, and many boxers resume look much different. Canelo, Floyd, both had beaten a lot of former champs, but many were limited in skill by the time they fought).

Kov has been lucky, the top LHW have been willing to face him. The top SMW has agreed to come up to face him.

GGG will beat a SMW at some point. There is a reason GGG is regarded so high.

            But Kov trainer just hating.
Kov is a much better fighter than GGG. He counters, defends, fight of the backfoot, and fights on the inside. He has a more educated jab, too.

I think hagler would do better against triple GGG than a Jones or toney simply because he was made of iron...and he could also counterpunch you and his reach was phenomenal for his size..75 inches .....toney or Jones in my eyes were not as good as hagler when it came to backing an opponent up and gradually breaking him down.....I think an hagler vs golovkn would be brutal and golovkin still has a little way to go before he can be compared to the marvellous one......Roy's Jones would I think lose a wide points decision or late stoppage due to the fact he literally would be defensive the whole fight...and toney I think would get broken down by triple gigs relentless body work......wow it's a tough one really and who knows for sure..... Hagler was something else

[QUOTE=Progrssive_Jedi;16432151]The best MW refuse to fight GGG, including Canelo. GGG would fight Floyd, and that's CANELOS only elite opposition. Mosley, Cotto both diminished skills and too small for Canelo. Lara isn't elite. Trout nor Angulo were elite. Angulo thumped Lara.

Kirkland, dude was weight drained and out for 18 months. My grandmother could of KO him

Ishida beat Kirkland in 3 rounds. Kirkland beat Angulo.

GGG KO'd Ishida in 3 rounds. Ishida went 12 with Pirog.

Not a single win Canelo has would make it 12 with GGG. Hell, most of them wouldn't fight him.

Canelo has mostly beat blown up WW, and weight drained fighters. Angulo was shot, so much Hunter would soon drop him.

Trout, oh, he beat a shop Warn Cotto.

Canelo couldn't KO little ass Cotto, but you think he's KO'ing GGZg.

You're gonna be disappointed whenever Canelo stops being a chicken'son'.

Training with Tony some how's gives him insight on what would happen if GGG fought him.

This guy speaks in third person, doesn't that tell us enough.[/

You were just hating on CANELO before he fought COTTO how did that work out for you ? You just mentioned some of CANELO'S last opponents , and yup it puts GGG's resume to shame at only 25 yrs. old. I Didn't know your grandmother was a Boxer , I'm willing to bet big money she has a better resume then Golovkin does , put her up vs. CANELO he will ice her! You're confused , you see in the sport of boxing you earn your stripes, in the ring against the best regardless of the situation , if you say you want the big fights and your a name with backing, you can easily get the big fights. GGG just likes to fight mid level talent at best.

Your throwing dirt on CANELOS opponents, as if it's a weak resume , well I got news for you : 900k vs 97k PPV UNITS SOLD, the people know who is the KING and who is the HYPE.

                -CANELO WILL OUTCLASS GGG
-GGG IS NOT HITTING CANELO WITH THAT SLOW ARSENAL HE HAS-

No one refuses to fight GGG , he said 154-168 , Ward was their for him , Lara wants GGG and CANELO said he's ready , BOB ARUM & EL ZURDO called him out recently. Now we know they "Can't fight HAYMON fighters" was a myth as well , that gives you Jacobs , DEGEAL , The Charlos

FLOYD-COTTO-LARA-TROUT-KIRKLAND-ANGULO-MOSLEY ARE ALL BIG FIGHTS FOR CANELO , A-SIDE or B-SIDE CANELO MADE THOSE BIG FIGHTS

-GGG DOES NOT HAVE BIG FIGHTS
-GGG DOES NOT LIKE MAKING BIG FIGHTS

CANELO WILL OUT BOX THEN KO GGG , GGG HAS TOO MANY FLAWS AND CANELO WILL MAKE HIM MISS THEN MAKE HIM PAY

                $$$/CANELO\$$$
THE NEW #1 P4P KING OF BOXING

Now your trolling lol...Oscar would get beaten severely and you think he went down hard with Hopkins body shot...if it was golovkn he would still be curled up in the ring now silly man...as for Trinidad he never had the chin or style to last with areole toes machine like golovkin......all the others you mentioned are great fighters for sure but they would know there in a fight against golovkin that's for sure......but Oscar and Trinidad ....your being a troll

RJJ at 160 (in his prime) would probably school Golovkin. He's just too quick and would have a reach advantange.
But then again, in my opinion prime RJJ would school anyone.

Toney would make a fight of it but would get destroyed by the 10th.

You are a mad person. Jones and Toney were big punchers at middleweight and highly skilled. In fact Roy got the name "superman" because of his phenomenal speed, power, and reflex. Toney got the name "lightsout" because of his skill and power. GGG has fought anyone yet, except for cans. Right now the winning bet is on the two ATGs.
