I slightly favor Ward, but it depends on how he looks against Sullivan Barrera

When I met Ward and got his autograph a couple years back I told him that he is one of those rare Rubik's cube boxers. That's a name I call boxers whose styles are extremely difficult to solve, like Mayweather. I believe Kovalev has his hands full with Ward's style, to say the least. Both fighters are the tops, but I would favor Ward and be pulling for him. That's just my take.

of course he's good but we don't know how good he really is without cheating and grabbing constantly. sure he can beat guys like paul smith but he was grabbing a guy like miranda constantly because miranda was touching him up. even though we know he's going to go in there and grab constantly we still pick kovalev. that's how much we think of kovalev. if he gets grabbed to death and loses the fight oh well what can you do. fools will come on here and say it was a great performance like floyd-maidana 2, ward-kessler, and many other fights. seen it over and over.

Aside from the long layoffs, Ward has one of the most accomplished resumes in the sport. Respect is given where respect is due. I want to see how Ward does against a full-fledged LH before I start making conclusions about the fight. Nonetheless, both Kovalev and Ward have their hands full if and when they meet.

so even if ward holds nonstop which is illegal you won't say anything? you will say he outsmarted kovalev because he was allowed to cheat? i suppose that is true in a certain sense but kind of spits in the face of a legit sporting event.
