Am I seeing things or was iron-jawed Pascal knocked down by a jab by Kovalev?

It wasn't a slip. Kov just countered his jab. He stepped in and was planted firmly with both feet, but it was a perfectly timed, strong counter that just took him off guard. Obviously stepping into it made it even more powerful (but that's what perfect timing is all about) and that's why it got him off his feet, but it was a very clean knockdown without any slippage.
I had thoughts of Cotto vs Clottey when I saw it. I remembered it being significant because it seemed to mess with Clottey's mind even though he didn't appear to be terribly hurt. Wonder if it effected Pascal the same way?

Pascal was rocked and hurt by Froch at 168 and was on his way to being stopped by Dawson before a bull**** stoppage on a cut...

Here we go again...Overrating fighters to justify your little crushes on fighters...Kovalev beat a B- /C+ fighter at best...P4P? well P4P Bradley eats his shots and takes him to school...Manny would just Blitz him.. Do you idiots ****ing know what P4P means? Jean ****ing Pascal....beating Jean Pascal makes you the best fighter in the world now....please go find a new sport to watch

The punch knocked him onto his heels and he fell...Not a KD technically as balance was the deciding factor in the fall...They should count though..Imagine you could time someone well enough to just keep knocking them down like that, it'd be amazing.

No it's obviously not a KD as set out by the rules of boxing. He fell because he lost his balance. Are you really so sad that you are watching that and just lying to yourself?

On a side note: KOvalev P4P number 1? He is in my mind anyway.

Side note 2: Things looking awful grim for American boxing now, and will look even worse once all their best fighters come out of witness protect and fight their rivals>>>

                  Wilder vs Povetkin
                  Crawford vs Postol
                  Ward vs Kovalev

Not looking good for the USA at all.
And your country got their asses kicked by the U.S. plenty of times ****.
