Boxing politics in a nutshell, one side wants the fight and its always the other sides fault. Smh.

Whatever side u wanna believe, doesnt really matter. Myself i blame HBO entirely. They had both fighters at one point and could have made the fight..just like that. Scheduling em to fight on the same night, same card...but against different opponents. Dumbest move ive seen in boxing recently. Thnx HBO.

Let it go,bro. If you haven't noticed all reason is being abandoned by this guy in defense of Adonis. Lets be real...if you knew who Adonis Stevenson was at the time you knew who Kovalev was lol. Adonis isn't even a big name... Oh he sells in canada? Even Ward can sell a bit in his hometown... I'm sure Kovalev would sell in Russia but no fights would get made if he went that route. Aside from that Dawson fight Adonis hasn't looked like anything but a big puncher (ironic that he accuses Kov of looking that way when he was dropping dudes with perfectly placed jabs). Kovalev has gotten a hold of every relevant name at 175 from canada, to the U.S, to the UK and is even working on a fight with a guy who is notoriously a pain in the ass to even get in the ring period (Ward). Adonis can enjoy his title that he won from a guy who just came off a knockout loss. I liked Adonis just fine as a fighter but he's become irrelevant. Emanuel Steward must be turning over in his grave to see someone he believed in so much not have that same confidence in himself

Total bull****, that was one of the biggest fights in boxing I remember the card where kovalev fought silahk and stevenson fought bellew it was leading up to the clash and haymon snaked his way in and ...well its been a ****stain for boxing. Prior to all that stevenson never wanted to fight kovalev anyway, always mentioning hopkins or pascal in post fight interviews.

The only bull**** is what you're spewing, Kovalev was nothing when he was calling out Stevenson who is THE CHAMP. He had beaten Cleverly, the only decent name on his resume at the time, c+ level fighter, and the rest were bums, period.

Then the loser kept saying Stevenson was ducking him because he signed to Al Haymon to make more money and Kovalev cant sell peanuts on his own so he skipped a very dangerous mandatory to fight the c+ level fighter he already beat, the same guy that looked like **** the fight before.

Stevenson will end the Hype on this bum. He is faster, he has far better defense and he counters better than any light heavy outside of Ward. Not to mention he has one punch power he will end Kovalev and that zombie Duva knows it. They backed out of the purse bid for a reason, they are using Stevenson's name to gain more hype.
