Dude everyone in boxing talks and rumors fly like crazy, but all you have to do is look at the actions of a fighter.

HBO had lined up Stevenson vs Kovalev beautifully in 2014. Stevenson walked away.

There was talks about Stevenson vs Hopkins, but instead it was Kovalev who went on to fight Hopkins, while Stevenson fought Dmitry Sukhotsky.

Jean Pascal called out Stevenson in what should have been a mega fight in Montreal. He declined. Instead Pascal challenged Kovalev, and Stevenson ended up fighting Karpency.

1. HBO lined it up promotionaly but what about the financials.. Dan Rafael twitted Stevenson felt short changed and only wanted a little more and showtime was offering a better deal( something even Duva pointed out).

Stevenson has no boxing career and is recognized only for being a convicted pimp who beat woman and kidnapped them and abusing them. There is no place in boxing for a rodent like Stevenson who probably cannot enter the USA because of the Conviction and being a kidnapping beating felon. Turns out he's better than Stevenson expected but that wasn't so obvious then. His last TV outing he was made to look like a fool by washed up Campillo on Espn before he ran out of gas, and that was his best win by far
