    The Luis Ortiz Pass

So Luis Ortiz has had a win taken from him after beating up a cruiserweight because Ortiz was on steroids, he's 36 and has one good fighter on his resume and now he is fighting the 61st ranked heavyweight.

Is this simply HBO controlling the narrative? Crawford, Ortiz, Golovkin, Gonzalez, Loma and Kovalev all use the best opponent excuse. When does it fall on them to not fight Segura or Lundy?

Ortiz isn't with Al Haymon so he gets a pass.

Yea I'm not buying the crawford "Lundy was the best possible opponent" when Postol and his manager both said they would fight him and they're both with TR. Looks like arum is marinating once again?
Look for crawford to dominate and KO Lundy and impress everybody

This the greatest thread and the timing is perfect. I was watching HBO boxing since the day I was born and I hate the direction the network is going. Rematches, mismatches and bull**** propaganda.

HBO gets a pass because they are the anti-Haymon, anti-Mayweather entity so their disgusting matchmaking and spinning of issues such as this is overlooked.

Arum isn't marinating anything, like always he is more like urinating on boxing because he's old and has made his money and made several cash cows in the process. His legacy as a promoter is sealed. DLH, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto. And the failed experiment Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

HBO made some real good moves last year but this year they're throwing up trash. Crawford already beat 2 men who beat Lundy. It's shameful.

Neither Crawford or Postol had a fight scheduled and they couldn't get it done. And word is they lowballed Herrera and Provodnikov. And to top it off who the hell knows who GGG will fight next.

The opposition notwithstanding, I'm glad that Ortiz is capitalizing on his victory over Jennings by fighting ASAP. The fact that Ortiz is headlining the card against this caliber of opponent is confusing though. The co-main has to be more competitive.
