Not to mention Pac was a 20 year pro already, way past his prime.
And Floyd Mayweather is immune to time? he's been a pro for 19 years too and had 90 amateur fights against top level opposition nationally and internationally, the man has been taking punches to the head since he was a toddler, Pacquiao started boxing at 14 and nobody knows what he accomplished as an amateur.

Pacquiao had just beaten the P4P #3 guy in Tim Bradley in 2014 and totally dominated a boxer mover in Chris Algieri just before the Mayweather fight, Floyd on the other hand struggled against Maidana twice and showed clear signs of decline, both were old and past it and the better man won.

Please stop comparing people from different eras, the game has changed a lot since then, was Duran tested for the Leonard fight? was any of these guys ever tested for PEDs? absloutely not, nowadays we actually see fighter get caught using PEDs and Floyd caught a lot of **** for an IV that was approved by the commission and the testing organization. Both were great fighters, but they can't be compared because they fought in different eras.

Duran gave hagler a run for his money. So Floyd hasn't shown he could beat Duran.
If Floyd fought GGG at 160 then we would be better to gauge where Floyd is! If Floyd does well I could entertain the idea Floyd could beat a prime duran

Duran chased down fighters who were the best at the time. He wanted to fight the best and tested himself going higher and higher in weight.
Whether Floyd did this or not Floyd had nowhere near the level of competition to face. I agree with the comparison of Hagler and GGG as respective opponents (though obviously Hagler is by far the greater fighter at this time) and Floyd has no interest in scaling that mountain. Duran would have chased it relentlessly and possibly ****** GGG's Mother just to get the fight.
Duran's attitude was infinitely more exiting than PBF's.

That was a way past prime Duran, don't be a fool.

Duran was a real throwback fighter, in the sense that he fought 119 times over a span of 34 years. And he was not bernard hopkins in terms of taking care of his body. Only fighter to come up from super featherweight and win titles at 160, and even ended up fighting at 168.
