For real a simple purse bid would have worked. It's kovalevs promoters fault. You think hbo would give a **** if he beat stevensen on showtime or pbv then came back more popular for a ppv on Hbo against ward? I think it's funny people blame stevensen at this point. Boxing fans are such puss*es these days and actually support that kind of shyt. Instead of hoping HBO would try to push this fight closer to happening they celebrate a dismissal of a potential fight.

Yeah, HBO was happy to have Bhop commentatingfor the sheer fact he doesn't like Pascal, and since Bhop couldn't beat Kovalev, why would he even want for him to win. What's funnier is HBO had to tell the public about the ''political conflicts'' for the fight instead of just saying contractual network agreements. That has nothing to do with politics. So if they're admitting it, one must wonder why Kovalev calls Adonis a chicken if he clearly knows it's a network conflict. I like Kovalev just ran away after Adonis creeped on up.

After Pascal even called Kovalev a champ in the ring, Kovalev was going to say something in return getting a hold of the mic, but HBO cut cameras. They perhaps wanted the image that Pascal was the bad guy which would be void if Kovalev had said the same. HBO didn't want that.

2. The WBC mandated the fight, scheduled a purse bid, but Kovalev's rinky dink pay-less promoter wanted no parts of it so they squashed it.

Both sides are to blame. But you idiots either take one side because stanning is all you know how to do or you just have the "HBO way or the highway" mentality which is bull****.
